Proven Worthy

Nana stepped into the room with a tray of teacup. She placed it on the table while Diamant watched her suspiciously.

"Who is that for?"

"You, of course." Nana scoffed.

"I don't want it. Who knows, you might have had it poisoned." Diamant said and turned to the other side of the bed, her back to Nana.

"That is a great choice but I didn't poison it. Still, I wished I had." Nana eyed the teacup with annoyance and marched out of the room.

Someone ran into her the minute she closed the door.

"You should watch where you are going!" She shouted at the person.

"I am so sorry, Nana. I so sorry." The person hurriedly said while trying to reach for Diamant's door.

"Wait. You look like one of the dungeon guards. You are, aren't you? It is only the dungeon guards that dress the way you do." Nana pried.

"Nana, please I am here for something important. I promise that I am not doing anything wrong. I only came here to see the Mother." The guard said hurriedly.
