As Jax hurtled towards him, a sinister grin stretched across Gerald's face, showcasing a set of rotting teeth. He threw a punch straight for Jax's face, determined to sculpt his features into a grotesque mess.

However, Jax had learned his lesson from their previous encounter. Swift as a panther, Jax sidestepped with precision, narrowly evading the incoming blow.

The punch cut through the air, making a whistling sound, missing its target by a hair's breadth.

Caught off guard by the failed attack, Gerald stumbled forward, his own momentum working against him. He tried to salvage his dignity by spinning around for another swing, but it was too little, too late.

Jax seized the moment with a devilish grin, his instincts took over like a savage predator on the hunt. His leg shot forward with explosive force, hitting Gerald square in the ribs with a resounding thud that echoed through the air.

Gerald's face contorted in a mix of pain and humiliation, emitting a sound resembling a constipated hog struggling to birth a boulder-sized dung ball.

Before Gerald could even find his balance, Jax unleashed another strike, his foot meeting Gerald's face like a wrecking ball, leaving his features as distorted as a rusty scrap heap.

The impact sent shockwaves through Gerald's skull, his vision blurred, and his head spun from the sheer force of the blow. Now it was his turn to see stars.

But there was no time for him to lick his wounds. Jax's feet kept moving like an unstoppable machine, each hit landed with deadly accuracy.

The air echoed with painful grunts, solid thuds, and a string of profanities from Gerald. Jax specifically targeted the areas that would inflict maximum pain and hinder Gerald's movement. Gerald started to stumble and lose his footing.

The tables had turned, and the once-arrogant Gerald now found himself on the receiving end of Jax's relentless barrage of kicks. Every successful strike fueled Gerald's anger, making him more reckless and desperate.

Gerald's illusions of power and control shattered, much like the crumbling walls of the ruins surrounding them.

"You son of a bitch!" Gerald bellowed, his anger boiling over and humiliation driving him mad.

Gerald's fury ignited like a raging inferno. He unleashed a deafening roar, desperate to bring Jax down. His goal was to beat the shit out of Jax and extract the information about his discovery in the ruins.

However, Jax's skills and swift movements made it more difficult than Gerald had imagined.

Gerald's clenched fists trembled with futile rage. No matter how hard he swung, Jax always seemed to be one step ahead, dodging Gerald's wild punches and countering with powerful kicks.

"Stay the fuck still, you bastard!" Gerald's voice boomed with frustration as he wildly swung his fists.

*Thud~*

Finally, Gerald's punch landed with a resounding impact, crashing into Jax's left shoulder. His body spun from the sheer force and Jax felt as if his shoulder had popped out of its socket.

Despite the fall and the searing pain in his left shoulder, Jax clenched his teeth and decided to turn the momentum to his advantage. He twisted his body and aimed a retaliatory kick at Gerald's gut.

Everything happened in a split second and Gerald, who was eagerly closing in to pummel Jax wasn't prepared for such an unexpected maneuver and couldn't block Jax's kick in time.

However, due to the fall, Jax's kick veered slightly off target. Instead of landing on Gerald's abdomen, his foot made a jarring impact on Gerald's bladder.

A wave of excruciating pain shot through Gerald's body, causing him to unleash a guttural scream of pain. The impact on his bladder forced an uncontrollable release, staining his pants with a humiliating mark of disgrace.

Both of them crashed down to the ground. Jax felt a sense of relief as he realized his shoulder wasn't all screwed up, but the searing pain ripping through his left side was pushing his pain tolerance to the max.

Jax slowly rose to his feet, never taking his eyes off Gerald while fighting through the pain. Meanwhile, Gerald continued to writhe on the ground, clutching his bladder and making pathetic sounds akin to a strangled animal.

Despite his own condition, Jax couldn't help but let out a chuckle at Gerald's sorry state. It would have been the perfect opportunity to strike Gerald, but unfortunately, Jax hadn't fully recovered yet.

Taking a step back, Jax stood on the side, enjoying Gerald's misery while using this breather to recuperate. He carefully rotated his injured shoulder in small circles, first clockwise and then counterclockwise.

The gentle movement helped improve the blood flow and ease the stiffness. Jax felt some of the discomfort lessen, and he proceeded to stretch the muscles around his shoulder joint.

Having trained rigorously according to his father's instructions over the years, Jax was well aware of the devastating power of his strikes. Yet, despite eating several blows that would have knocked an average person out cold. But this bastard kept coming at him like a raging bull.

'Fuck, I didn't know I had become this weak!' Jax lamented internally. Not getting proper food and rest for weeks had really taken its toll on his body.

Jax felt fortunate that Gerald was nothing more than a brute with no proper combat training. He knew that if he hadn't been trained by his father, he wouldn't stand a chance against him.

There was no doubt that Gerald was a formidable opponent. Apart from his experience, his sheer strength and endurance were his deadliest weapons. Those alone could take down Jax, and he knew he had to be careful.

Meanwhile, Gerald's mind was in complete chaos. He couldn't make sense of what was happening. It was unbelievable.

For as long as he could remember, Gerald had always viewed Jax as weak and cowardly, who just made some lucky discoveries in his scouting routines. Someone who he could squash like a bug whenever he pleased.

Yet, here he was, getting his ass handed to him by the very person he underestimated. It infuriated him, filling him with a seething humiliation. How could this pathetic piece of shit dare to challenge him? Who the hell did he think he was?

Gerald struggled to catch his breath, his face was contorted in anguish. The pain and humiliation had truly pushed him to the brink of lunacy.

Gerald's wounded pride matched the pain coursing through his body. "You little shit!" he bellowed with a thunderous roar as he staggered back up. "I'm going to fucking kill you!"

"Says the one who just pissed his pants" Jax retorted, spitting on the ground and mercilessly taunting Gerald.

Jax's words acted like a spark in the powder keg of Gerald's rage. "I'll fucking show you, you motherfucker!" Gerald charged at Jax like a rampaging beast.

"Come on then, let's see who's gonna show what," he declared with unwavering fearlessness. Jax was prepared to teach Gerald a lesson he would never forget.

Gerald abandoned his defense and flailing strikes. He charged at Jax with an overwhelming force, his sole focus was to crush Jax with sheer brute force.

Gerald just want to get his hands on Jax for once, he was confident that, that would be enough to finish him off. Little did he know the dangerous territory he was stepping into.

As Gerald's massive frame barreled towards Jax, Jax swiftly ducked down In a fluid motion and grabbed hold of Gerald's leg, while at the same time slamming his shoulder into Gerald's midsection.

Using his strength, Jax executed a powerful takedown, slamming Gerald onto the ground with a thud that the impact reverberated through the dirt beneath them.

The two men rolled around, each struggling to gain control. Without wasting a moment, Jax shifted into a position where he had a solid grip on Gerald's arm, ready to immobilize him.

Jax expertly twisted Gerald's arm into a super painful hold known as the Kimura lock, contorting it in an excruciatingly uncomfortable position.

Gerald let out a loud grunt of pain and surprise because Jax had executed the arm lock so swiftly that he couldn't even process what was happening. The intense pain in his arms made him fear that it might snap under the pressure.

Realizing the perilous situation he was in, Gerald fought back with everything he had. Leveraging on his raw strength and Jax's weakened state, Gerald managed to forcefully yank his arm free from the lock, narrowly escaping the painful hold.

Gerald should have exercised caution and backed off when he had the chance. But he made a grave error in judgment and decided to grab onto Jax instead. He had underestimated Jax's skills yet again.

As soon as Gerald's hand broke free from his grip, Jax's body moved with the agility of a coiling snake as he swiftly moved on Gerald's back. Before Gerald could register what was happening, Jax was already latching on his back.

Jax's arms were tightly wrapped around Gerald's neck, while his legs locked tightly around Gerald's waist. With unwavering determination, Jax squeezed his arms with relentless force, applying immense pressure.

A single word echoed in Gerald's mind, "Fuck!" He knew he was in deep shit.

Gerald frantically clutched onto Jax's arm, attempting to forcefully pry his grip apart while gasping for air. His face turned red as he fought fiercely against the tightening hold while rolling on the ground and vigorously shifting his body.

Gerald's larger size gave him an advantage over Jax. He slowly stood up while Jax was still clung onto him, and forcefully slammed his back against the nearby wall, aiming to create enough impact to dislodge Jax.

Despite the pain, Jax clenched his teeth and refused to release his hold. Then, unexpectedly, Gerald threw himself backward onto the ground, aiming to crush Jax beneath his own body weight and create an opening to break free.

Jax felt as though a mountain had crashed down on him. His bones and organs screamed in pain. Gerald's fierce struggle made Jax feel like he was wrestling a beast instead of a human. Consequently, Jax's grip on Gerald's thick neck began to loosen.

"What the actual fuck is this guy made of?" Jax thought to himself, feeling a mix of pain and frustration. He was dangerously close to losing his cool.

Jax realized that his current strategy wasn't working against Gerald's tenacity and he had to change tactics. Continuing the same approach would only lead to more injuries. So he made the decision and released Gerald's neck.

In response, Gerald let out a roar and swung his arm backward. But Jax had already planned his next move before releasing him.

Immediately after he released Gerald's neck, Jax swiftly grabbed a handful of Gerald's hair with both hands and slammed his face onto the ground with all his might. There was no room for mercy or weakness.

The impact was savage, shattering Gerald's nose and causing blood to gush out. His mouth filled with a mixture of blood and dust, turning him into a grim spectacle

Jax dragged his beaten body upright, his face and body had many marks of their brutal struggle. It was his sheer willpower and determination that kept him on his feet.

Gerald lumbered to his feet, his gaze fixed on Jax, a mixture of rage and disbelief simmering on his bloody face. "You... you little shit!" he snarled, blood oozing from his mangled mug.

At that moment, Gerald fully realized how big of a fool he had been to underestimate Jax. Jax was way stronger, faster, and more resilient than anyone could have guessed just by looking at him.

What made Jax even more dangerous was his skill in fighting. Despite having strength far surpassed Jax's, Gerald was the one who had been taking most of the damage.

Dropping any pretense of his false pride, Gerald retrieved a gleaming knife from his waistband while glaring at Jax furiously.

Gerald wasn't going to take any more chances, 'Screw the damn treasure, I'll kill him first and then search for it myself' Gerald's mind was made up, and he was ready to go for the kill.

Gerald's shattered pride demanded redemption. The mere thought of being known as the guy who got his ass kicked by a seemingly weak slave, to the point of wetting himself, was a humiliation too severe to bear.

He knew he couldn't hold his head high for the rest of his miserable existence if he didn't kill Jax right here and right now.

With a menacing point of his razor-sharp blade, Gerald spat out. "No one's gonna save your sorry ass now, you worthless piece of shit! You should've spilled your guts and told me what the fuck you found!" His voice thundered with fury, dripping with the bitter taste of vengeance.
