The Emperor of the Light Gods paused for a moment before answering Hidalgo’s question directly. Although the god in the human world named Julius knew that the current situation involved Hidalgo to some extent, he couldn’t bring himself to tell him, especially since everything happened without Hidalgo’s awareness.

“All of this is because of your father’s actions, the leader of the demon sect,” Li Julius replied briefly.

Hidalgo raised his head and turned his gaze to Julius. He took a deep breath as he remembered that Julius was actually his own brother. That meant the source of the current troubles in the world was their own father. And it also meant that a war had broken out between father and son in the universe.

But it was different from Julius’s perspective. He didn’t feel like he was fighting his father at all. Because his soul and consciousness were entirely possessed by the Emperor of the Light Gods, not the original Julius who had already perished.
