"Father, I'm ready," said Aurel. Maurer bent down to pick up his phone, while Aurel was terrified that he would find the gun she hid after eliminating Bobby.

"Oh, alright then, let's go dear. How was your day? I'm sorry, I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time with you," said Maurer, looking up. This meant he may not have seen the gun Aurel hid under the bed after killing Bobby, Maurer's pet lion.

"Father, Aurel is very hungry," Aurel said nervously, trying to act normal.

Maurer smiled and walked over to Aurel who was still standing at the bathroom door, then hugged his adopted daughter.

"My little baby has grown up, and will soon become a forensic doctor," said Maurer, stroking Aurel's head. Maurer was so affectionate with his daughter, truly caring for Aurel.

They left Aurel's room and walked towards the dining table. The servants bowed as Aurel and Maurer came down the stairs.

"Dinner with a slice of pizza and macaroni," said Maurer.
