Chapter Seventy Six

Elena had so many questions to ask Ares. She was still finding it hard to believe that her father was alive.

A strand of tear slipped as she fed her father with the soup. Mr Kingsley smiled weakly reaching out and brushing the tear off.

"Dad," She says breaking into sobs as she keeps aside the bowl of soup.

She fell into his embrace instantly clinging onto him like he was going to disappear any second from now as she cried harder.

"I've missed you so much, Dad. I thought I'd lost you. This all feels surreal. I'm afraid it's only a dream that I'll soon be waking up from and have to suffer all the pain and yearn to see you again " she says in one go

Mr Kinsley ran his hands around her back feeling his eyes sting as well.

"It's alright my child. It's not a dream and I'm here now, you have nothing to worry about" he says sounding reassuring.

"But how? How's this even possible? What happened?" She asked all of a sudden trying to make sense out of all this.

How's her father still alive?
