Chapter Thirty

Ares stood at the corner of the prison, his knuckles stained with blood. The policemen that were sent to interrogate him or rather beat the truth out of him lying almost lifeless on the ground.

His jawline hardened, nose flaring with barely contained rage. His anger divided; one for the embarrassment he had to withhold, the accusation of attempted murder, one for Elena.

"You asshole, I'll make sure you spend the rest of your life close behind bars." One of the men groaned while the other unlocked the cell.

Ares ignored them, his back facing them.

Just then Allisson and Henry made an appearance.

"Ares" Allison calls out only then did he turn to face the outside of the cell he was in.

"Get me out of here" he ordered his tune hard and precise.

Henry nods, "David is working on it."

"I saw what happened in the hospital, Ares you shouldn't have--" He cut her off before she could proceed.

"Get me the security footage of Kingsley's office."
