Isaac accepted Allegra’s suggestion without a fuss and started making himself comfortable.

Old Alec was shaking with anger and instructed Edward to drive them off. But Edward was already weak at his knees and could not think of anything else.

Edward and Margaret knew Isaac meant it when he threatened to take Edward’s life.

Hence, Isaac, Allegra, and Beefy Bob stayed at the Gould family’s house the whole day.

Margaret noticed Edward’s head was in a muddle. She gave it some thought and whispered an idea into his ear.

When she finished speaking, Edward looked at her and asked, “Are you sure this will work?”

Margaret retorted, “Would you rather lose the 60 million dollars instead?”

Edward thought about it and said through gritted teeth, “Not on my life.”

“See? Let’s stall them while you get Randall’s help to get through to Mr. Kenne. We must take action as soon as possible.” Margaret patted Edward’s shoulder in assurance.
