“Thank you!” Emily bowed as she choked back a sob.

“Don’t look for jobs at places like these in the future.” Isaac stared at her. He felt a sudden unease, so he went back into the car.

Emily turned around swiftly and walked toward a white car nearby.

Her friend had introduced her to this job. She’d been at her wits’ ends; she owed the car dealer a huge sum, her mother needed money for her treatment, and her ex-husband kept pestering her. This job was her only way out.

Kyron took a fancy to her looks and lent her a little more than three million dollars in a lump sum. However, she knew she was only a cash cow to him.

If it weren’t for Isaac, she would need to work at the clubhouse for five years. That was the price she had to pay. But Emily couldn’t bring herself to hate Isaac.

Because she knew Isaac was someone far out of her league.

When the white car drove off, Isaac said in a lowered voice, “Keep up with her.”
