Isaac couldn’t believe his eyes. The young woman whose every movement and smile had captured the hearts of the men around her was now skin and bones, and her eyes had lost their light. Her features were still as beautiful as before, but there was a horrific scar on her face.

Isaac frowned. His voice was shaky as he asked, “Ally, w—what happened to you?”

“W—who are you?” Allegra’s voice was shrill, and she looked agitated.

“Me? I’m Isaac, your husband!” He hadn’t expected her to react like this.

Chuck Gill got to his feet and roared, “You’re a fucking liar! Allegra’s husband died seven years ago. He’s a murderer who was sentenced to death! Do you even know where you are, you asshole? How dare you come here and beat me up!” He pulled his phone out.

Isaac glared at him, his eyes turning red with rage. His murderous intent filled the washroom, making Chuck feel like he was suffocating. He staggered backward in fright and pointed at Isaac, stammering, “Y—you… what are you doing? I-I’m the manager here.”

“Fuck off!” Isaac roared, his domineering aura making Chuck flee the washroom in fear.

“Ally, don’t you recognize me? Look, it’s me, Isaac,” he said gently as he took a step toward Allegra.

She shook her head vigorously and said, “Isaac’s dead. W—who are you? Get away from me!”

Isaac’s heart twisted at her reaction. He nodded and said, “Okay, okay. Calm down. I’ll leave.”

He turned to leave, but when he looked up, he saw Chuck approaching him with three fierce-looking security guards. Chuck shouted, “Allegra Booth, get the fuck out here! I made you stay back to clean the washrooms, yet you got someone to come beat me up. Do you have a death wish?”

Though Allegra was disfigured, he knew she had a gorgeous figure hidden underneath that ugly cleaner’s uniform. Even a celebrity was no match for her. He’d intended to have his wicked way with her tonight, but he hadn’t expected her to have a backup plan.

Allegra was still dazed. She was certain that Isaac’s death sentence had been carried out seven years ago, but she couldn’t deny that the man before her looked just like him. She was pulled out of her reverie when she heard Chuck’s bellow. It was only then that she realized how much trouble she was in. She ran out of the washroom to see Isaac surrounded by Chuck and the security guards.

“Allegra, I didn’t expect you to sell yourself to this pretty boy after pretending to be such a chaste woman with me. You’re such a slut!” Chuck said menacingly.

Isaac looked at him. He pointed at Allegra and said, “Get on your knees and apologize to Ally. I’ll forgive you since this is your first strike.”

“What?” Chuck let out a derisive laugh. “Do you think looks can kill, you brat? You’re up against the four of us. We’ll crush you like an ant!” Then, he stopped laughing and pointed at Isaac. “Get him!”

The three security guards immediately reached out to grab Isaac, but he gave them the chance to touch him. As the commander-in-chief of such a huge army, there was no way they were a match for the Drakon’s power. He swept past them, and before they realized what was going on, they were sent flying after being dealt a blow each.

Chuck gaped at them as they rolled around on the floor, clutching at their abdomens. Then, he looked at Isaac again. It was as if he hadn’t lifted a finger.

“Y—you’re a monster!” he screamed, turning to flee. Unfortunately for him, Isaac caught him by the collar and said coldly, “Get down on your knees and apologize to Ally.”

Allegra was terrified by this scene. She didn’t expect this man would be so strong.

Chuck turned to glare at Isaac. “In your dreams! There’s no way I’ll apologize to that ugly bitch, let alone grovel at her feet.”

Isaac gave him five slaps, only stopping when blood trickled from his mouth and nose. “Get on your knees and apologize. This is my last warning.”

To Chuck, his voice sounded like a siren from hell, his face was comparable to the devil. He nodded and turned around, plopping onto his knees before Allegra. “I’m s—sorry. P—please, forgive me.” After that, he passed out.

Allegra looked at Isaac fearfully, then realized Isabella was standing nearby. She let out a yelp of surprise and took off her gloves before running to her. Then, she dragged Isabella away without a look back. As they hurriedly got onto the bus, Allegra could only think of fleeing. She didn’t know whether the man who claimed to be her husband was real.

The bus started to move. She sighed with relief when she saw that Isaac wasn’t following them.

“Mom, that man was a good guy. Why did you run? He even took me to have fried chicken.” Isabella turned to look out the window with confusion.

Allegra held her face tearfully and said, “Don’t you remember what I told you? Never speak with strangers. Do you understand me?”

“But I was really hungry. Madam Fran was bullying me, and the man helped me.”

Allegra sobbed harder at the sight of Isabella’s innocence.

When they arrived at the farmers’ market, they hurried inside. After Isaac had been sentenced to death, Andrew had taken over her house. She and Isabella were no match for him, and her mother had always favored him.

For the sake of Isabella’s education, Allegra had no choice but to move to this dirty, rundown place. They were only able to stay here rent-free after her father had spoken to Madam Fran.

They stepped onto the stairwell after exiting the dark, narrow alley. Allegra unlocked the door to a small apartment on the third floor. When she pushed the door open, she was greeted by the sight of some ruffians smoking inside, circling a fierce-looking Madam Fran.

Allegra let out a surprised cry. When she was sure that she hadn’t entered the wrong unit, she walked inside while holding onto Isabella’s hand. She forced herself to smile and say, “Madam Fran, what’s going…”

Madam Fran cut her off. “Where’s that bastard? Why didn’t he come back with you? Since he had the nerve to make me end up like this, he has to pay the price—100,000 dollars, and not a single cent less.”

100,000 dollars?

This was an astronomical sum to Allegra. She shook her head and said, “Who are you referring to? I don’t know anyone like that.”

Madam Fran shot to her feet and narrowed her eyes. “You don’t know him? Why would he help your little bastard beat me up if there isn’t anything between you two? You know what. I don’t care. You’ll have to cough up the money, then.”

At this moment, Isaac’s frosty voice rang out. “What will you do if I say that I won’t be giving you a dime?”

Andrew came to a stop after running a few yards. He muttered to himself, “That good-for-nothing Isaac died long ago. This guy just looks like him; there’s no way they’re the same people.” He turned around and looked at Isaac, ignoring Allegra and Isabella. “Who are you? Do you even know where you are right now?”“Andrew, don’t tell me I have to report to you when returning to my own home.” Isaac narrowed his eyes and took a few steps forward. At this moment, a coquettish voice rang out from upstairs. “Who’s causing such a ruckus downstairs? Is it that widow and her daughter? How rude of them to make so much noise when coming to someone else’s home.”A young woman in a pink spaghetti-strap dress came downstairs, looking disdainful. She had a full face of makeup on, and her dress was sexy. When she got downstairs, she merely glanced at Isaac before focusing on Allegra and Isabella. Then, she shrieked, “Oh, my God! I can’t believe you stepped into the house in such filthy shoes!”She

Seven years back, Riverview was already the third most expensive neighborhood in Cloud City. The security here was one of the best in Cloud City, thanks to the neighborhood’s developer—the Merck family. The security guards smiled menacingly and pulled out their batons. One of them pointed at Isaac and said coldly, “You have five seconds to apologize to Madam Gould and Mr. Booth, brat. Otherwise, I’ll ensure you leave this place in a body bag.”“You? I wouldn’t be so confident.” Isaac flipped them off.Andrew laughed derisively. “Hey, asshole, this neighborhood belongs to the Merck family. Anyone who dares to cause a ruckus here will spend at least half a year in the hospital. If you get on your knees and apologize to me, I’ll consider forgiving you.”At this, the security guards shared a look, then roared and rushed toward Isaac with their batons raised. Andrew looked excited. He wanted to see Isaac grovel at his feet and beg for mercy. After all, he’d never seen anyone who’d dared

No one knew how much pain and suffering Allegra had been through the past seven years. Ever since the man she loved deeply had been sentenced to death, her life had taken a turn for the worse. Isaac’s words made her recall everything she’d gone through.“Mom, are you okay? Mom!” Andrew ran over to Margaret and helped her up. Blood was trickling from her nose and mouth, and her hair was mussed up. Her face was also swollen. She wept while pointing at Isaac and Allegra, shrieking furiously, “How dare you hit me! I won’t let you off the hook!”Isaac looked at her, his eyes red with fury. Then, he rushed at her, making her heart race as she trembled with fear. Suddenly, she felt cold all over. In just a few steps, Isaac stood before her, his hand tightening around her throat. It immediately cut off her air supply, and her eyes bulged in horror.“Not only do I have the nerve to lay a hand on you, but I also have the guts to kill you.” Isaac looked at her, his face void of emotion. Allegra’s lips twitched at his words, and she bit them to hide her shock. The receptionist was taken aback, thinking that she’d heard him wrong. “D—do you want Mr. C—Crowe to come to see you? May I know if you have an appointment with him?” Her attitude suddenly became extremely respectful. She thought Isaac was some big shot. After all, he dared to refer to Mr. Crowe by name and demand that he come to see him.“I’m sorry, but we don’t have an appointment. Is Mr. Crowe around?” Allegra said when she saw Isaac didn’t intend to respond. The receptionist was surprised by the difference between them. Then, she rolled her eyes and smiled mockingly at them, saying, “If you want to see Mr. Crowe, you must make an appointment a week in advance. And before you do that, you need to get a number at the front desk. The fee’s 15,000 dollars and you need to pay first.”Beefy Bob frowned and looked at Isaac, who said calmly, “Just tell him that Isaac Garten wants to see him. Money's not an issue a

I dare you to break even a single vase here. If you do, I’ll make sure you spend the rest of your life in prison.”Seeing that things were getting out of hand, Allegra turned to Isaac with a frown. “Stop talking already. Let’s just go.” Then, she said to George, “Mr. Crowe, I’m so sorry about this. I don’t want you to treat me anymore, so please don’t be mad.” She bowed to him.George scoffed and gave her a sideways look. “At least you have some common—”“Trash this place!” Isaac cut him off. Beefy Bob immediately sprang into action, lunging at a large antique vase. He lifted it up easily and dropped it on the floor, shattering it. George’s sneer became more pronounced. “I can’t believe the balls on you. Just wait. With his hands behind his back, he leisurely walked back over to the remaining sofa and sat down while giving Beefy Bob a look. The latter immediately knew what he wanted and pulled his phone out to make a call.Beacon Clinic had many employees—probably more than 20 doctors and nurses. None of them dared to utter a word at the sight of the trashed lobby. Especially the receptionist that had spoken to Isaac and Allegra upon their arrival. Her back was drenched with cold sweat, and she hunkered down in a corner, feeling terrified. Countless government officials and business bigwigs were George’s patients, yet Isaac didn’t seem to be bothered by it.The sirens stopped in front of Beacon Clinic, and four or five uniformed officials hurried in, looking stern. His eyes widened, and he took a step back, mumbling to himself, “How is this possible?” This guy looked just like Isaac!“Bastard, how dare you come here again! Do you think you can come and go as you please?” Andrew roared. This pulled Edward out of his reverie. He kept his eyes trained on Isaac and said coldly, “I don’t know where you came from, brat, but you need to apologize to my sister and nephew right now. If you can compensate us appropriately, I’ll consider letting you off easy.” Edward was sure that Isaac had been executed seven years ago. Back then, a friend of his had been working for the authorities, and he’d personally given Edward a call to tell him that he’d witnessed Isaac being taken to the execution site. He was sure the man b

We might need to put all our spirits into the soul artifact, but if we do that, our bodies in the real realm would be motionless, like corpses." Isaac speculated."So what? We can lie in the sarcophagus, and with the protection of the sarcophagus and the secret chamber, our true form will definitely be safe. Now that she can live again, that's the best outcome." Drea looked at Isaac holding Skylar in his arms. You were essentially another being." However, it had been breached effortlessly under Dreamlerq's influence. The sheer capability was astonishing. "It's such a pity…Sir Freddie passed away too soon. "You're clearly far away in the Immortal realm," Isaac expressed his amazement through his consciousness. "To my knowledge, you're in great need of divine energy right now. With the soul artifact, you'll be able to obtain it," Dreamlerq responded. A spark of joy lit up in Isaac's heart. The soul artifact could help him to acquire divine energy. But how? As the artifact's owner, Isaac had a general understanding of its functions. However, there wasn't an option to open the Immoral Realm. He wasn't at the peak of the Sacrificial Phase, so how could he pierce the Immoral Realm's barrier and create a small opening?"I know what you're wondering. The colossal object radiated a faint white glow, its outer surface surrounded by continually emerging vapors, resembling boiling dry ice. The soul artifact Drea had mentioned resided within those vapors. "This is the soul artifact you spoke of?" Isaac asked in astonishment. He stepped closer and attempted to touch the vapors. Despite appearing gaseous, it was, in reality, composed of souls; not the vengeful spirits found in the ten thousand resentful bones, but wisps of theorems. Indeed, these soul-related theorems continuously emerged around the artifact. "Did Dreamlerq's principle involve souls?" Isaac asked. "Yes, my true form cultivated the Principle of Souls. This artifact is something he created himself. Through it, you can reach a world beyond anything you could imagine," Drea responded. "A world beyond imagination?" Isaac narrowed his eyes. Those were the exact words Dreamlerq had spoken to him in his dream. Now, it seemed that the enormous artifact was the

That was to say, all things, whether living or non-living, whether the laws governing the universe or any tangible objects originated from Chaos. It was exactly where they were right now!"Oh my god, I suddenly feel like I'm incredibly close to principles of the void and the principles of internal demons. I can even manipulate them with ease!"Isaac was astonished by his discovery. He had only barely grasped two principles, the principles of the void and the principles of the internal demons. Yet here, he felt an intimate connection with all principles, enabling him to understand and harness them more effectively. "I feel the same way. I cultivate the Principle of Transcendence, and it feels incredibly close as well," Mixandrei said in agreement. As the two conversed, Drea stepped out of the coffin yard, his body appearing outside. "Don't come out! Your physical bodies have yet to reach the sacrificial phase and ca
