“Stop arguing. You can explain yourself at Astraeus,” Charlie snapped.

Issac lit a cigarette and gave the five people standing before him a nonchalant glance. “I don’t mind going to Astraeus, but not with you. Maybe if your leader comes and invites me personally, I’d go.”

Avon laughed at him. “Our leader? Who do you think you are? We’ve never even met our leader, so do you really think he’ll come here for you? I’m giving you a final warning; are you coming with us or not?”

“Nope.” Isaac exhaled a cloud of smoke and smirked at him.

A murderous look crossed Avon’s face. “Take him.”

Suddenly, the three men in cloaks lunged at Issac. A strong burst of spiritual energy emerged from them.

Isaac frowned. Did they have to do this in the living room?

Just as he was deliberating his options, one of the men waved his right hand at him, sending a gust of white fog toward him.

“Poison gas?” Instinctively, Isaac held his breath. At the same time, he yelled and punched at the fog.
