Chapter 429
After Isaac had driven out by a mile or so, Old Brooks turned around and waved his hand. The few hundred cars behind him began to move slowly, their hazard lights blinking.

“Hmph, let’s see what trick you have up your sleeve that can block my multimillion-dollar car.” Herbert stalked away, a derisive look on his face. But as soon as he reached the school gate, he was stunned.

The motorcade before him astounded him. His eyeballs were about to fall out of his head.

Million-dollar luxury cars filled his field of vision. They were all black SUVs with their hazard lights on. All three eastbound streets were packed with cars; only motorcycles were able to pass through.

After Old Brooks got into his car and left, another man stayed at the school gate to control the traffic. He gave a few hand signals, and the frontmost cars in the motorcade suddenly switched to the leftmost lane, slowly cruising past the school gate one by one.
