The rain stopped. A silhouette bolted through the trees. Cedric and Lewis released daunting waves of spiritual energies as they charged toward Isaac.

Cyrus landed in the front yard and, without a pause, used the soldiers as leverage to reach Isaac, swinging punches at him.

Isaac’s eyes grew redder. Eventually, his eyes were as red as though blood had flowed through them.

“No!” Evie sobbed as she screamed at Isaac.

She meant for Isaac to keep his identity hidden. There was no knowing what her father would do if he found out the lord of the Temple of Drakon was in Cloud City. She couldn’t even start to imagine.

Isaac was enraged. The energy in his power core flowed into every part of his body. But when Evie shouted, he toned down and reabsorbed a quarter of his energy in a split second.

“Seven Divine Slashes!” roared the shorter Cedric. Dark blue spiritual energy enveloped the long saber in his hands. Within five yards of Isaac, he slashed seven times continuously.
