Isaac decided to save his words. He held the heartbroken Allegra in his arms and said, “Ally, let’s go.”

Allegra wiped her tears and looked at the table where a few beggars had already taken their seats. Her distress slowly turned into determination.

“No. I will finish my last meal with the Gould family and engrave today’s humiliation in my heart!” Allegra was shaking all over, her lips pale.
