"Isaac? He was in your class back then, right? I remember him vaguely." Elio regarded Isaac from head to toe. Seeing his average sense of style, he asked, "Where do you work, Mr. Garten?"

Isaac smiled and replied, "I'm currently unemployed."

Hearing that, a look of disdain crossed Elio's eyes. He said in a mocking tone, "Then you're doing something wrong. You have a wife as beautiful as Allegra, but you, the man, are the one holed up at home. If you're not careful, your wife may run off with someone else."

With that, Elio's eyes roved over Allegra's body.

After a few years of not meeting each other, he noticed she now seemed much more mature and feminine.

"It's still early. Allegra, why don't we find somewhere to grab a coffee and talk?" Elio raised his right hand, intentionally revealing his Patek Phillippe, and beamed at Allegra.

Allegra felt awkward. She had asked him for many favors back in university.
