Only Isaac, Eugene, and Holly had dinner together that night. Allegra told them she was working overtime and wouldn't be having dinner.

When Allegra hadn't returned after 10.30 pm, Isaac called Beefy Bob.

"Yes, she is. She's in there all this while," Beefy Bob said in a muffled voice.

Isaac paused before saying, "You can take some time off today. I'll be right over."
