"Him?" The words of the doctor broke into a stutter still trying hard to believe what he just heard.

"But how is that even possible... Madam Victoria, you are making a real grievous mistake here. He can't be the heir that everyone has been expecting.

But there is no way that is possible right?" He was still finding it difficult to believe.

"You still have the guts not to believe what is just said? Are you trying to say that I am lying?" Her face tightened into a frown as another slap landed on his face.

His eyes grew hot red with so much embarrassment as his eyes skimmed through his subordinates staring at him with every trace of pity in their eyes."

Meanwhile, a slight cough escaped from the mouth of his foster mother making Joshua turn toward her.

"Are you okay Mami?" He inquired but even though she nodded her head, he could already tell that she was not and was only trying to lay his mind to rest.
