CHAPTER 31

Miss Rena sat alone as the car drove her back to her apartment as she had asked for.

The driver looked up at the rearview mirror and adjusted it nervously. “Wouldn’t you make a stop at the hospital to see your sister one last time before you call it a day?.” She asked her.

Miss Rena sighed and shook her head negatively without saying a word to him.

She was devastated after all she had seen at white tree estate, she knew what love was when she saw it and she could tell Joshua loved the lady who laid on the stretcher unconditionally and she knew because she saw such love between her parents.

“You’re a fool, Rena!.” Miss Rena cursed herself in her thoughts.

Though her face was a hard shell of zero emotions, Miss Rena was breaking inside, she was dying of the pain that the man she had finally developed feelings for wanted someone else just as she wanted him.

“They are married aren’t they?.” Miss Rena caught herself asking the driver personal questions about her boss.
