They shook their heads in unison. "Not at all, but we should be asking you that because you didn't bother to know how we're feeling and you haven't taken your dinner."

He glanced at the dining and no-one was seated there. "Did you ever see Vanessa today?"

The two shook their heads. "Nope! We didn't. It's just in the morning and we haven't seen her since we came back from school, she hasn't been present for work."

"And did you bother checking on her?"
