Siara ran through the open door on the roof top with her cannon musket ready, as the first one came running she let it draw close, the moment it swiped at her it belched out a grotesque roar, she pressed the tip of the barrel into its mouth and pulled on the trigger.
BOOOM
A shell half the size of a fist exploded out the barrel head, blowing the zombies head to bits, and it continued blowing a hole straight through the next one in line.
The zombies went crazy when the loud sound reached them, and came rushing in a greater flurry.
Siara pulled back and put in a second shell, she waited for them to line up again and pulled on the trigger once more, this time it tore through at least three.
She quickly put the musket back in its holster, she only had one more shell on her, they were too bulky to carry around many shells.

“Tsk,” Dalis clicked his tongue as the creature tried to ram into him. But he wasn’t having it, he sent out one firm smack, that hit the creature so hard it toppled over and ate the ground, Siara shouted something but he didn’t hear it. He caught its arms and pressed it down taking a close look at it, it had red lines on its face, like Siara’s. ‘A mutated native of this world that’s mindless, this must be a zombie,’ he concluded. ‘My people have done extensive research into the zombie’s, they spread by infecting the members of their race, infections are transmitted through physical contact with its target… etc…, I doubt there is much more I can discover about them,’ he thought and started ruthlessly stomping on its head.
