"How great it would have been if I was a cultivator. Destroying mountains and plucking the stars with my bare hands. Travel the starry space unhindered, gaining immortality and living forever but unfortunately..." a young man layed on the grass under a tree as he looked at the partly cloudy sky. His looks were really good and went well with his ocean blue hair. He was wearing black robes engraved with gold dragon patterns.
This young man was the third and youngest child of the City Lord, when he was born, no phenomenon occurred in the sky or the earth. When his eldest brother was born, dragons roars resounded throughout the entire city and clouds also took dragon forms, his sister caused massive damage when she was born. She had caused a terrifying earthquake that almost collapsed the entire city but for him, his birth was very ordinary.
Su Jin really loved and admired cultivators ever since he was little, when he found out that he would live his life like an ordinary person he was devastated. It felt like the world came crashing down on him, with nothing better to do, he started drinking. He didn't lack money as his father would give him as much as he wanted, his father pampered him not just because he was talentless but also due to being the youngest.
He had hopes that his youngest son would come back to his senses some day and accept this cruel fact. He then opened the gourd that was on his waist and a strong smell of alcohol permeated the air, it was obvious that the wine inside the gourd was very strong. "Good wine!" he exclaimed.
He then closed his eye and took a nap, he didn't about the clouds that were condensing in the sky, it started raining an hour later but it seemed like Su Jin had no plans of waking up. "Su Jin, Su Jin. It's time to go back." a sweet and melodious voice sounded in Su Jin's ears, he slowly opened his eyes and saw a stunning lady who was on her knees beside him.
She had long and beautiful purple hair, her eyes were also purple and they were as clear as day, her features were like a work of art never seen before, like a goddess descended to the mortal world, her skin soft and smooth and as pure white as winter snow. Her eyes were full of love and care and a tiny bit of pain.
Unfortunately, Su Jin didn't cherish the beauty in front of him. "Qui Huizhong you bitch, how many times should I tell you to not fetch me when I'm taking my afternoon nap! Useless bitch, we haven't even gotten married yet but you're still nagging me as if you're my wife!" Su Jin's words were harsh but they didn't affect Qui Huizhong as she just knelt there besides Su Jin without saying anything.
It seems like she was used to Su Jin's cursing. Seeing that she wouldn't leave, he stood up and patted off the dust on his clothes. Qui Huizhong then gave him the umbrella that she she had been holding in her hand. Su Jin took it and walked away, not caring about his fianceè, whether she was drenched by the rain or whatever, he just didn't care.
Qui Huizhong then ran after him, surprisingly, the rain didn't reach her clothes, even her hair was dry even while walking around in the heavy rain without an umbrella. The was a golden layer which was very thin that covered her body, protecting her from the rain. Turned out she was also a cultivator.
She finally caught up to Su Jin and walked side by side with him, Su Jin didn't give her a glance and just gulped down his wine. After ten minutes of walking, they could finally see the city walls up ahead. "Huizhong, come here."
Huizhong also entered the umbrella, her supple breasts touching his arm, Su Jin blushed and said, "This doesn't mean that I care about you or anything, I just don't want any rumours to spread in the city about how heartless I am to my fianceè." Qui Huizhong smiled and her smile seemed to momentarily stop the rain, no matter how heartless a man was, their hearts would succumb when they saw such a beautiful smile, Su Jin was no exception.
He looked at the girl besides him for a long time and used all his strength to look away. It wasn't long until they entered the city, with their looks, they looked like a perfect match, as if they were born for one another.
...
Just like that, three years passed and Su Jin still hadn't changed his habits, he was still sleeping under the tree again, his looks were now more refined and was dashing handsome young man. He reeked of alcohol, the smell was so strong that one could smell it ten meters away. He was now a married man, he was happy to marry a beauty like Qui Huizhong who loved and cherished him but he still longed for something in his life which he couldn't have.
Without a Spirit Root, Meridians and even Acupoints, he absolutely couldn't become a cultivator. These three things were very important if one wanted to become a cultivator, Spirit Root was responsible for helping in sensing Spirit Qi in the surroundings, Meridians were responsible of containing and directing the Spirit Qi to the dantian, Acupoints were responsible for creating a perfect energy flow for the Spirit Qi absorbed.
And Su Jin had non of these and his siblings were advancing by leaps and bounds in their cultivation which made him more depressed then happy, he was jealous of them but not to the extent of hating them. "Husband, let's go home." a sweet and melodious voice sounded in Su Jin's ears.
In front of him was his wife, Qui Huizhong who was now mature and elegant, her body had also grown and was now perfect, it was curved where it was supposed to, big and perky on other parts, supple and big on other parts. The perfect woman was what one would describe her as, a feast for eyes for men.
"Huizhong, something feels different about you, what happened?" Huizhong smiled and said, "I'm pregnant." Su Jin's eyes were so wide that they were on the verge of dropping to the ground, "Really?!Really?!" his depression disappeared instantly. Excitement and happiness now filled his eyes. "It's my first time hearing such good news. Huizhong, thank you. Thank you for not giving up on me and I'm sorry for how I treated you in the past." Su Jin's words were sincere.
Tears poured out from his eyes as he kept on apologising to Qui Huizhong and slamming his head to the ground. It's said that a man only kneels to his parents and to the heavens but today, Su Jin was kneeling to his wife. "Stop, you're hurting yourself. I forgive you okay, I forgive you so please stop!"
Qui Huizhong also started crying which made Su Jin to feel excruciating pain in his heart, he wiped away the tears on her face with his hands, "I love you Huizhong and I'll love you even when I'm dead. Not even death will take away my love for you." after saying that, he fainted in Huizhong's bosom.
Huizhong also wiped away the tears in his eyes as she looked at him with a gaze full of love and care, "You dummy, I waited so long just to hear you say you love me. I love you more than you can even imagine." unfortunately, good things don't last forever.
Qui Huizhong felt a sharp pain to the back of her neck and collapsed to the ground, in fact, it was more like she was carefully layed on the ground. "Hurry up, the young master said to not make any mistakes! Let's take this bastard and quickly leave!" Three men wearing black clothes that covered even their faces quickly took Su Jin and disappeared.
They didn't even leave any traces as they left and they were definitely professionals to even escape Qui Huizhong's senses who was a cultivator. Qui Huizhong woke up hours later and her husband was no longer in her arms. "Su Jin! Su Jin! Su Jin!" she shouted his name again and again as she ran around looking for him.
Seeing that she couldn't find him, she rushed back to report to her father in-law who was furious after hearing the report. "Preposterous, who dares to kidnap my son! Find him!" the city lord was fuming with anger as he gave the orders. "Father in-law, please find my husband!"
...
Elsewhere, in a pitch black place, candles lit up and showed Su Jin who was sleeping on the floor, "Wake up." as if being mind controlled, Su Jin woke up with a baffled face. "Where am I? Where's my Huizhong?" the first thing he thought of after waking up wasn't why he was here but where his wife was.
"Shut up!" a voice sounded in Su Jin's ears, he looked up ahead and saw a man sitting on a grand chair and wearing luxurious clothes. "Who are you?" Su Jin asked. It doesn't matter who I am but what matters is that you're going to die." said the man.
"Sir, I don't even know you so why are you going to kill me. I'm just an ordinary person who fears trouble so I don't think I've ever gained emnity from someone as grand as you."
"You can really speak but it doesn't matter. You took away someone very special to me so you have to die. It's that simple." Su Jin didn't even know what to say after hearing such an explanation, as for the special person, it was probably his wife.
Su Jin had heard of people gossiping about how their goddess was snatched away from them by him and many outstanding young masters hated him to the core but didn't act due to his powerful background.
Before he could even speak, the man continued speaking, "I heard you love wine so I prepared good wine for you. You should be grateful that I'm gonna kill you with the wine you so love."
Su Jin's vision blurred and when he came to be, they were already in another place, there was a huge barrel that was filled with all sorts of wine and the scent it produced was enough to intoxicate even cultivators. "These wines are not ordinary, I sent my men to look for the best wines this world has to offer,it's a shame that I can't drink them. There's the Dragon Phoenix wine, Tiger Roaring wine, Ice lotus wine, Volcano's Breath wine, Travelling Winds wine, Earthen Water wine and many more!"
These were all famous wines that were hard to obtain even money couldn't buy some of them. These were all wines Su Jin wanted to drink before he died and his wish was about to come true. "Since all these wines were mixed together, I thought of a new name for this wine, Death Intoxicating wine. Isn't it a good name since it's going to intoxicate and kill you at the same time!"
"Young master, please let's talk about this, surely there's a way for us to resolve this issue without resorting to violence. Let's talk things out." although these were all Su Jin's dream wines, he didn't want to die just yet, he was going to be a father soon and didn't want to leave his wife and besides, he was still young, at eighteen years of age. Who would want to die so young.
"Of course there's a way to resolve this issue without using violence." Su Jin was happy when he heard these words but frowned not long after, "Drown yourself, this way I won't have to use violence."
Su Jin knew that he was dead for sure so he tried to escape only to find that he couldn't, a powerful fist struck his stomach and was slapped and became unconscious. He was then thrown into the huge barrel and woke up, he tried to raise his head but couldn't.
Papapa!
He swung his hands trying to escape from the powerful clutches and trying to swim away but couldn't,he stopped struggling a minute later but the man didn't let him go, he let him go five minutes later when he was sure that he was dead. "Leave his body here, no one will find him here." the man said to his name who were about to take out Su Jin's body from the barrel.
The soldiers looked everywhere for Su Jin but couldn't find him, even his two siblings rushed back when they heard that their youngest brother went missing but even they couldn't find him. Su Bohai, the eldest son of the city lord returned to his Sect and Su Bo also returned after being unable to locate Su Jin. Due to stress and depression, Qui Huizhong had a miscarriage and lost her baby. With both her loved ones gone, living seemed meaningless so she tried to commit suicide. She stabbed her heart with a sword and then collapsed, hours later, she woke up and surprisingly, the sword she stabbed herself with was gone and there was no blood on the floor. When she checked herself, she found out that her heart was now jade like and had many colours to it. She had awakened the Spirit Jade Heart which didn't just enable her to command all elements, wind, water, fire, earth, metal and wood but also be able to summon spirits. She went back to the huge tree where Su Jin would always be sleep
Su Jin finally saw sunlight after cultivating for a full ten years even though he didn't know, the scenery on the surface was quite beautiful. Beautiful flowers grew on the green healthy grass and the tall trees provided fresh air, it was a perfect place if one wanted to relax or if lovers were out on a date. Seeing this, Su Jin felt all his worries disappear and his mind also became clear of any disturbing thoughts. The other two also felt relaxed, to stumble on the underground cavern could be considered their luck or bad luck. They were just chilling when the young man suddenly fell into the hole, flustered, the young girl also jumped in to save him. Never did they ever think that instead of treasures, they'd disturb a powerful cultivator who was sleeping, a drunkard to boot. "Lead the way." Su Jin dragged them out of their thoughts and they started their journey to the capital city. It wasn't long before Su Jin stopped them, "Hey, can you smell that?" he asked. The duo also sni
"Halt! No one is permitted to enter the residence of the Lord Su. Go back now before you get yourself hurt!" a guard shouted while running towards Su Jin's group, he didn't seem to have heard Su Jin's shouting or maybe just chose not to take it to heart. The guard seemed new and didn't recognise the young master of the Su family. "Who are you to stop me from seeing my father?!" Su Jin became a little exasperated, it had been a long time since he saw his family and just when he was about to reunite with his family, here was this guy stopping him from doing so. "Just forget it." he said this before the guard could reply and even walked past him with the two youngsters. "Stop! Didn't I tell you, no one is allowed inside the Lord Su's residence. And how dare you claim yourself to be Lord Su's son! Insolent!"The guard pulled out his sword in an attempt to harm Su Jin, the sword was aimed at Su Jin's legs,it was a Grade one weapon. The guard was clearly planning on teaching Su Jin a lesso
The three men were already enjoying dinner in another room while looking at the beautiful garden not far from them, the two who came with Su Jin had already been led to their resting and wouldn't be appropriate to follow Su Jin at this time. "That's all I remember." said Su Jin. His uncle and father nodded that they finally understood the situation. "Which bastard has the guts to kidnap my nephew! If I ever lay my hands on him, I swear I'll skin him alive!" vowed his uncle. Although his father was also very angry, he didn't the same way like his brother. "So father, did you receive any news about my brother and sister?" Su Jin's father's expression became sullen and lonely and so was Uncle Ling's . "They've probably already left this world." his father said. "What! How is that even possible?!" Su Jin couldn't believe it. "Little Jin, there's something I have to tell you. Your mother didn't die after giving birth to you, she went back to her home world." explained his father. Su Jin
Not long after Su Jin had split the clouds in the sky, it began to rain and it was raining cats and dogs. Su Jin just stood there, seemingly to be in deep contemplation, "Huizhong, I'll definitely get revenge for you and our child. Those people shall pay with their lives!" Su Jin's gaze was cold as killing intent filled his eyes. His fist were clenched so hard that his nails had pierced through his palm but he didn't bleed. The two brothers felt the sudden shift in Su Jin's emotions and remained quiet, they knew that whatever was on his mind, he had to resolve it himself. Taking a deep breath, he felt calm and relaxed his hands. Powerful auras suddenly appeared from all directions which made the two brothers extremely scared. Their instincts told them that if these people wanted them dead, it would be simple as squashing an ant thus remained seated. Su Jin didn't care about the powerful auras as he stood in the heavy rain with his eyes closed. The auras then disappeared completely,
Su Jin woke up the next morning feeling more refreshed than ever, he subconsciously touched the other side of his bed only to remember that his wife wasn't there. "Haaa... Living without you is gonna be more difficult than I expected." he said to himself. He then picked up the pillow that was previously used by Huizhong and took a deep breath of it which had a feint scent of Huizhong's and that's when he realised that there was something stuffed inside the pillow. Slowly opening it, there was a silky red scarf inside the pillow and baby shoes made from precious material. He picked up both items with shaky hands as tears ran down his face like a waterfall, the scarf had a strong scent of Huizhong. While the baby shoes didn't have any scent on them, they still gave Su Jin an unknown feeling. The baby shoes were then tied to his waist while he wrapped the scarf around his neck even though he didn't cold or change in temperature. "They might have separated us once but they won't do it twi
Su Jin then approached the sword that called him, the handle of the sword was pitch black while the body of the sword was blood red, the sword gave off an icy and eerie aura almost as if it were created from death. Su Jin stood in front of the sword and minutes later looked back and asked, "What do I do now?" the sword had kept quiet now even though it was the one that called Su Jin over. The duo wanted to ask why he had been there for a few minutes if he didn't know what to do. "Drip some of your blood on the sword and see if it'll recognise you as its master." said his father. Su Jin nodded before he bit his thumb and created a gash where a single drop of blood flowed out of his thumb but immediately after the drop of blood flowed out and fell on the sword, the entire room was filled with a rich and sweet fragrance. The duo's faces were as red as a tomato as their visions became blurry and they collapsed on the ground, the red sword also vibrated and changed colour from blood red to
The escort sat quietly in the carriage while Su Jin slept, it seemed that Su Jin enjoyed sleeping because of his time was spent on him sleeping. The escort was wondering Su Jin had managed to kill hundreds of people with just a wave of his sword, it was truly inconceivable and terrifying. ' No wonder His Majesty gave the order personally, he's a monster!' thought the escort to himself. He then looked out the window of the carriage and it was already dark outside. "Let's stop here!" he said to the coachman. He then created a campfire and sat with the coachman while Su Jin continued to sleep in the carriage. "What do you think of him?" the escort asked the coachman, they were surrounded by a barrier so that no one could eavesdrop on their conversation. If Su Jin was here, he would have been shocked because the coachman seemed like an ordinary person but was actually an expert. "His Majesty's foresight truly is amazing. I thought we were going to pick up trash, who would have thought we
