Farhana heard Vasu's words and nearly collapsed on the ground with a dazed look on her face. The words kept echoing in her head nonstop, but it took some time before she came back to her senses. Just as she did, another shock hit her when Vasu pulled Julie into his embrace and gently kissed her tender cheeks. After witnessing their intimate moment, Farhana collapsed on the ground in disbelief.
After a while, Farhana raised her head to look for Vasu but couldn't find him anywhere. She hurriedly stood up and started to search for dungeon monsters. Soon, she found one and killed it immediately. As she thought of exiting the dungeon, the exit appeared in front of her, and she stepped into it, disappearing into thin air. In the next moment, she stepped out of the dungeon portal and saw the back of a familiar figure. She released a long sigh of relief with a smile on her lips.
" Do you want me to give you a lift to your home?" asked Vasu with a calm look on his face. Before Julie could answer, her expression turned gloomy as she looked in a certain direction. A guy slowly walked towards her, and following her gaze, Vasu soon caught sight of him. The guy reached near them and demanded to know where Julie had kept her loot.
Vasu didn't say anything and just turned to look at Julie with a questioning gaze. She explained that she had signed a contract to work for the Hawk Eye organization for ten years, and everything she obtained, no matter how precious it was, had to be given to the organization. In return, they would give her enough money to treat her mother's illness temporarily.
Farhana listened to their conversation and felt a pang of sadness for Julie. She knew how hard it was to take care of a sick loved one, especially when one didn't have enough money.
Vasu nodded his head, then turned to face the well-suited man with black glasses, resembling an MIB agent. "We didn't bring anything in return, and I want you to nullify her contract. She won't work for your organization from now on," said Vasu calmly.
"Who do you think you are? Don't put your nose in our matters and get the fuck off. I'm talking with her, not with you," snapped the man with furrowed brows.
"Do you want to know who I am that badly?" asked Vasu, anger flashing in his eyes.
In his previous life, Vasu would have silently walked away after being scolded like that. But now, he not only inherited the memories of this current body but also the emotions. He was completely pissed off.
"Who gives a damn who you are? Just get the hell out of my sight if you want to live," taunted the man with a mocking smile.
"You will regret what you just said," warned Vasu, fury-filled eyes on the man. Slowly, he removed the disguise on his face.
The man's mocking smile soon disappeared, replaced by a dumbfounded expression. "Oh my God, what the hell did I just see?" he muttered, rubbing his eyes.
Vasu waited as the man trembled violently and fell to his knees. "Now you can see who I am?" asked Vasu, looking down at the man.
Before the man could answer, Vasu interrupted him. "Let's go. I want to meet the owner of your hawk eye organization."
The man continued to kneel on the ground, kowtowing with fear and despair etched on his face.
"What are you doing?" asked Vasu, puzzled by the man's odd behavior.
Vasu, the Dungeon Manager, stood there, watching the man's desperate plea. He could feel the man's fear and panic, and it amused him. It was one of the privileges of being a Dungeon Manager, after all.
Vasu looked down at the man, who was clutching onto his legs. The man's eyes were wide with terror, and his voice was shaking. Vasu knew that the man was scared for his life, and he couldn't help but smile.
The man's grip on Vasu's legs tightened. "Please, Dungeon Manager. I beg of you. I have a family and kids. I can't die. Please, just give me a few hours. I will do everything in my power to nullify her contract. I swear on my life."
Vasu looked down at the man who was still on his knees, pleading for forgiveness. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that he had the power to strike fear into the hearts of others. However, Julie's words made him pause and reconsider his actions. She was right. There was no need to ruin the man's life, especially since he had a family to take care of.
"Very well," Vasu said, looking at the man with a stern expression. "I'll spare you this time. But make sure you keep your word and nullify Julie's contract. If I find out you haven't, there will be consequences."
The man nodded vigorously, relief washing over him. He quickly got up from his kneeling position and scurried away, not daring to look back.
Julie turned to Vasu with a grateful smile. "Thank you for showing mercy," she said. "I know you have the power to do anything you want, but you chose to spare him."
Vasu shrugged. "I'm not heartless. Besides, it's not my intention to ruin someone's life unless they cross me."
Julie couldn't help but feel a sense of awe towards Vasu. She had always known that he was a powerful dungeon manager, but seeing him in action made her realize just how formidable he was. She wondered what other abilities he possessed and how he had come to be so powerful.
Despite knowing Vasu's true identity, Julie remembered how kindly he had treated her. Thinking of this made her feel warmth in her heart, and she quickly came back to her senses after hearing the man's begging.
Vasu was pleased with himself after seeing how he had handled the situation. He then called for the carriage, and once it arrived, Vasu turned to look at Julie. "Can I come with you to meet my mother-in-law?" he asked with a bright smile on his face. Julie lowered her head shyly and gently nodded in agreement. "In which hospital is your mother-in-law currently receiving treatment?" asked Vasu, after Julie agreed to his request to tag along. "Heavenly Clinic Hospital," said Julie with a deep blush on her cheeks. "Haha...Driver, take us to Heavenly Clinic Hospital," said Vasu, while boarding the carriage followed by Julie. "Okay, sir," the driver nodded his head and moved the carriage towards the Heavenly Clinic Hospital at full speed. In a few minutes, the carriage reached the hospital, and both of them alighted. Vasu instructed the driver to wait for him. Soon, both of them reached the ward where Julie's mother was being treated. Everyone in the hospital was dumbfounded upon se
"It's our pleasure to treat the illness of your family member, Sir Dungeon Manager. You don't have to worry about anything. She will be under our 24/7 care from now on," said Sudeep with a fawning smile on his face. "Hmm," Vasu nodded his head with a satisfied smile on his face after seeing everyone agreeing to his words without questioning him back. "This feeling, it's like being a celebrity from Earth," thought Vasu with a smug look on his face. Soon, he came back to his senses and said, "Hmm, now you all can go back and continue your work." "Ok, sir dungeon manager," said Sudeep and the other doctors before walking away from that ward, and peace once again returned to the ward. Vasu turned to look at Julie with a gentle gaze on his face and continued, "Julie, after you spend enough time with your mother, get back to the organization. I will go and arrange your quarters for you to stay from today onwards. If you want, you can explore our private dungeon portals, and I will even
"Did you finish what you're saying?" asked Vasu with an angry look on his face. Vasu was very angry listening to that man calling that cute little alien girl 'wile' again and again. If he didn't want to give away his real identity in public, that middle-aged man would have died a thousand times already. "Ah?" the middle-aged man was taken aback after hearing the words said by Vasu. "What's your name?" asked Vasu, looking at the middle-aged man with a displeased expression on his face. "My name is Jat," replied Jat, raising his head proudly. "Jat my ass. If you don't fuck off out of my sight within five seconds, I will kill you like a dog," said Vasu calmly. "You...you," stammered Jat, looking exasperated. "Me what? Only three seconds left," Vasu said irritably. Jat continued to glare at Vasu, seething with anger. "Only one second left. You're dead meat," Vasu said, lowering his head to look at the little alien girl. "Okay, I will give you 50 tal if you win a game. Close your
Vasu didn't reject the glass of water, even when he saw its condition. The glass was broken, and the water inside was mixed with some dust. If someone saw that water in the glass, they would think that she had bought the water from the ground. He reached out his hand to take the glass from her little hands and drank the whole glass of water in one gulp. He returned the glass to her with a calm smile on his face. "Li Fai, why did you bring a stranger into our home?" asked Yue, while looking at Vasu with a vigilant expression on her face. "Big sister Yue, this big brother is good. We played a game, and I won some money from him. He said he was thirsty, so I brought him here to help him quench his thirst," said Li Fai in a childish voice while blinking her big, watery eyes, which made her cuteness increase to another level. Seeing and hearing her little sister's words made Yue lower her guard a little. "How much money did you win?" asked Yue, with a gentle gaze on her face. "Fifty tal
"Good. Both you and your little sister need to be under my care from now on. You and your little sister are not orphans anymore," said Vasu with a gentle smile on his face. "Sir… okay," responded Yue, feeling a warmth in her heart upon hearing Vasu's heartfelt words. Vasu then reached out to hold Yue in his embrace and turned to Li Fai, saying, "Let's go." Rather than immediately agreeing, the young girl turned to her elder sister and asked for permission, saying, "Sister…?" "Hmm, let's go," replied Yue, looking fondly at her little sister. "Yay!" exclaimed Li Fai, jumping up and down with excitement as she followed Vasu out of the house. After a few moments, Vasu stepped outside and gazed in the direction of a nearby cluster of trees. "Farhana, I know you're there. Come out and bring the carriage for me and our guests. It's an emergency," he said calmly. Li Fai and Yue followed Vasu's gaze, but they couldn't see anything. Suddenly, a voice emerged from the shadows of the trees.
"Dun…dun…dungeon manager!" Both guards exclaimed and fell to the ground, disbelief written all over their faces. They had never dreamed that the dungeon manager himself would come here, carrying a hybrid, to meet the doctor in the mansion. "Now you know who's boss, I'm?" asked Vasu, his face condescending. "Yes…yes… please forgive us, sir dungeon manager," said both guards at the same time, regretting their foolish behavior towards Vasu. "She is my woman. Now, is she eligible to enter the mansion with me?" asked Vasu, a mocking smile on his face. "Of course, sir dungeon manager. Both of us are blind for not recognizing you when you came to enter the mansion. Please enter," said the guard, quickly opening the mansion's entrance door. Yue's cheeks blushed after hearing Vasu's words. Instead of getting angry, she felt touched. He was a dungeon manager, and she was a lowly hybrid race, yet he still said she was his woman without thinking about his status, which deeply moved her heart.
"Yeah, big brother is the best," said little girl Li Fai, with an excited look on her face. Kids are like that; it's very easy for them to forget the worries they had after they find a new way to have fun. Vasu shook his head, while his lips curved up into a smile. Soon, he stepped out of the room and came out of the mansion, followed by Li Fai and Farhana. While walking out of the mansion, Vasu or Farhana didn't spare a single glance towards the guards and turned to look at Farhana. "Get the carriage. We have important business to take care of as soon as possible, without any delay," said Vasu with a stern look on his face. She wanted to ask what important business, which is, even though she didn't know about it, but still stopped herself from asking him and just nodded her head in response and rushed towards the carriage. She then instructed the driver to drive it back to the mansion entrance to pick up the dungeon manager and the little girl Li Fai. After a few seconds, the drive
After disappearing from his original spot, Vasu reappeared in front of the people who had beaten the hybrid couple. He raised his hand to snap his fingers, causing the heads of all those involved in the beating to explode. Their red and white matter fell on the people around them. Li Fai stood with Farhana, and Vasu didn't hold back in killing the perpetrators. The crowd watched the scene unfold before their eyes, and they fell silent. They didn't dare to breathe too loudly, let alone run away from a powerful figure like a dungeon manager. Vasu turned to face the people who had ordered the beating of the hybrid couple. "You call yourselves high-status people? What kind of status is gained by killing innocents? Has your organization completely lost its mind?" he asked with a look of disgust in his eyes. The group of people looked back at Vasu, their faces betraying no emotion. However, Vasu could sense that they were unsettled by his words. He could see the realization dawn on their
