Chapter 148: Twisted Reality

This is not a dream nor a nightmare.

The proof that I could feel the sensation of pain is enough for me to believe that I’m in reality. But this wasn’t my reality. This is another reality.

Before, the knight put another whip on my back. I caught the whip and stood up, glaring at his eyes.

He looked so petrified at my action that he staggered and stepped back.

“Those eyes… That’s not how you look to your superiors. You’re fired, don’t you ever come back and come here again?”

“I understand…”

But before I leave…

I curled my fist and knocked the knight in armor to sleep. His beating is particularly painful. Leaving without getting in return is not an ideal one for me.

When the knight fell to the ground with just one punch. The mining workers around me were in a state of astonishment. Disbelief about what they just witnessed.

“Is this pickaxe mine?”

I asked one of the workers.

He nodded without saying anything.

I took my pickaxe thinking that I could use it as a weapon. Just in
