This might be the last chapter for this year. I'm very grateful for the people who continue reading Dungeon of Zero. The update is slow but I'm working on it especially since the end of the story is getting closer and closer. We're still in a very long Part 4. This part will have three acts. We are in Act 2. The story in part 4 will center around Falfa and Retto's relationship. There might be a mundane chapter. But as always there will be lurking danger in the shadows. I'm working to learn programming skills so I'm unable to write sometimes. I'm sorry about that. In spring, Dungeon of Zero is expected to end. I'll work my butt out and publish as many chapters as I need. Once again thank you very much! Happy new year!
The harvest festival is always celebrated for three days. Understandable considering the number of events happening. The sun wasn’t resting yet but the tournament was stopped. Promise to return tomorrow afternoon for the semi-finals. The finals will then happen on the last day of the Festival. For that reason, Falfa and I still have time to wander around. Holding our hands, we walked down the street and checked out for anything that caught our eyes. Some supporters of the knight I just defeated glare at me like furious cats. Raging because I won the battle. In their eyes, Kinyo is an admirable protagonist and he’s supposed to be the man who will win the battle. His protagonist's aura is so radiant. It is too much for me. Maybe that’s one of many reasons he rubs me the wrong way. Not that I want to be the protagonist myself.I may have wanted it when I was little, but now that I’m grown up. I started to think that being a hero was n
Yuna was seen seemingly glowing white, her eyes turned radiantly blue and her hair turned to silver. After sending a glare toward Retto. She kicks the ground strongly to the point it makes a crack in the battle stage, which’s made of fine concrete. Retto came prepared to take on what was coming. Considering the one he fought was a relic wielder. Retto must be cautious. The Relic is the only one that can destroy relics. Yuna’s relic is not one of the original relics. We can say it was one of the knock-offs created by Dia while she resided in the Dungeon of Zero. The reason why she has one is still a mystery, but right now Retto could not care less. Knowing that a baby is coming into his life. Retto is more eager to think about his child’s future. Then things happen behind the scenes. After the first collision of their swords, Retto senses the heaviness after the impact. Retto had himself knocked back a few steps. The damage is not very serious. If Retto is using a standard-issue sw
Learning about the festival Dia came to visit Eden town again. She wanted to blend in with the crowd and just have a good time. Dia still does want Falfa to die and become her relic. But for now, all she wanted is to run away from the stress she’s had for a couple of weeks of her stay in the Laina kingdom. In addition, Retto being with Falfa is always bad news for Dia. She knows that Retto will always find a way to save Falfa. That’s proven by herself since she is Retto’s previous lover. Rettotendsf giving his all to save his most beloved. That’s just the way he is. Reason for Dia to fall for him. While enjoying the fun of the festival eating ice cream alone on a bench. Dia senses something wrong around her. The presence of Extraterrestrails… It's miles away from her position.“The taste of my ice cream suddenly became nasty.”Dia said and turned her head toward the man that suddenly appeared sitting beside her.“I wish I’m not the reason why you’re ice cream turned nasty. My body is
In a wide wheat field that expands endlessly in the horizon. Falfa was in the front looking a little sad. Carrying on her arms was a baby that seems to be Laura. She moves her lips as if saying something. She have a tear sliding down her cheeks and she turned around. “Wait! Falfa! Where are you going?” I shouted but she didn’t respond to my call. I have myself running as fast as I could. Stretching my palm reaching to the two girls whose most important to my life. … “Falfa! Laura!” I shouted and suddenly my body sat up from the bed. My eyes were in tears and my heart still racing. I chased my breath for a minute and clenched my fist. Thank goodness, it is only a dream. Seems like I’m in our bedroom. The sky is already darkened and stars shining bright outside. I heard rushing footsteps from the corridor and the slamming sound of the door opening. “Retto!” Falfa looking extremely worried immediately came to the rescue. She sat down on the bed next to me and hold my hand. “W
In the afternoon, the finals of the harvest festival tournament had begun. Only two contestants out of a hundred were left. I and the unknown masked man entered the battle stage accompanied by the cheering of the audience. Most of the audience are gamblers shouting the names of their bets. And, of course, I did place a bet for myself. It’s like getting two birds with one stone. Winning this tournament will make me get two rewards.Am I full-on myself? I guess I was… there could be more reasons. I already promised myself that I would do anything to win. I need that money for my upcoming baby.Winning this tournament is something I want to tell my child in the future. This will become a great memory for our family. That’s why I don’t have any reason to lose.“I cannot see emotions on your face, but I can sense the confidence in your demeanor… I’m quite dangerous, so please don’t underestimate my strength.”“I am not underestimating you at all. I saw you fight in the hot spring in Acacia
Deep in the forest where sunlight never reached. Snags and thick fog cover the clearing. This part of the continent was famous for being called the Dead forest. The name itself describes what you’ll see the moment you come here. The air supply in the forest is relatively lower, probably for the reason that the forest is located high up on the highest mountains on the Laina continent. When you're mountain climbing, hiking, driving, or doing any other activity at a high altitude, your body may not get enough oxygen. The lack of oxygen can cause altitude sickness.Altitude sickness generally occurs at altitudes of 8,000 feet and above. People who aren't accustomed to these heights are the most vulnerable. There are no monsters or animals who dare to live in this harsh environment. Even if there is a monster capable of surviving in this forest. Why would they? The forest has almost nothing to offer. There was no food. There is no prey for strong monsters. There is barely anything growing
Belle is still making an uneasy expression around Dia. On the other hand, Falfa looks stressed for reasons she didn’t want to discuss. As for me, seeing my former lover and my current lover sitting opposite each other is plain awkward. “Spaghetti meatballs… These bring back memories.” Dia said. “It was you who teach me how to do this dish. I’m happy that it turned out great.” Falfa said and then helped me have a serving on my plate. “I can at least serve myself.” “Don’t say that, It wife works to spoil her husband sometimes.” “That’s very sweet of you Falfa…” Dia said in a sarcastic tone. Falfa failed to sense it and pass the plate of spaghetti. After putting a small amount of serving on her plate, Dia offered the plate to belle whose being very silent all this time. Belle shook her head and eyes drawn down. “What’s the matter, Belle? Don’t you like my spaghetti?” “I’m quite full I eat a lot earlier.” “Her stomach is upset for the things I told to her. It's not my intention
In the cosmos.“The timeline of events changes yet the already written page of their fate never changed. Poor Retto and Falfa, will their love come to a happy ending?”The cosmo witch muttered with her eyes fixed on the page of a red book. She flips seven times until the page turned blank. The witch made a grin on her face thinking that they aren’t that hopeless. This is one of the instances the impossible turned into possible. However, sacrifices should still be made. The witch flipped the pages again three times and read within her mind.“This will fix my boredom…” She said and then turned her glance directly at you.“Oh, I didn’t notice you’re there again… Umm, did you miss me the ever-beautiful, witch of the Cosmos, Elaina…”She placed her hand on her ears.*Whispers~ Whispers~*“What is it? Umm, I’m weird? I’m evil? Ummm, I see… I see…”*Whispers~ Whispers~*“If I’m good? I’ll be helping Retto?”The witch placed her hand on her head and then her fingertips slide to the bridge of
