last update2022-12-30 11:31:28
After waiting for quite some time, my name is finally been called. As usual, no one really cheers for me stepping o the ring. Not that I care about that small stuff.

“The opponent, The noble man knight of Liana. Kinyo Goldenhart!”

Just by hearing his name, the crowd goes into an uproar. A charming young man like him does have an impact on many people. Of course, I’m not jealous at all.

Turning my glance on Falfa, Falfa is giving e her cherubic smile and clenched her fist giving me a fighting spirit.

“You are the one… The lucky scumbag that took Miss Falfa’s heart.”

“I have no time for some useless chatter. Let’s go and finish this battle as much as possible.”

“That’s very cold. I’m simply being friendly… Ah, I don’t get it at all. I’m more handsome, wealthy, and talented. Why Falfa is sticking with some loser like you? Your face is average, plus your physics…”

Is this guy for real? Falfa told me that she don’t even remember his name. Probably, he got rejected and raging.

He sta

This might be the last chapter for this year. I'm very grateful for the people who continue reading Dungeon of Zero. The update is slow but I'm working on it especially since the end of the story is getting closer and closer. We're still in a very long Part 4. This part will have three acts. We are in Act 2. The story in part 4 will center around Falfa and Retto's relationship. There might be a mundane chapter. But as always there will be lurking danger in the shadows. I'm working to learn programming skills so I'm unable to write sometimes. I'm sorry about that. In spring, Dungeon of Zero is expected to end. I'll work my butt out and publish as many chapters as I need. Once again thank you very much! Happy new year!

Maybe that’s one of many reasons he rubs me the wrong way. Not that I want to be the protagonist myself.I may have wanted it when I was little, but now that I’m grown up. Deep in the forest where sunlight never reached. Snags and thick fog cover the clearing. This part of the continent was famous for being called the Dead forest. The name itself describes what you’ll see the moment you come here. The air supply in the forest is relatively lower, probably for the reason that the forest is located high up on the highest mountains on the Laina continent. When you're mountain climbing, hiking, driving, or doing any other activity at a high altitude, your body may not get enough oxygen. The lack of oxygen can cause altitude sickness.Altitude sickness generally occurs at altitudes of 8,000 feet and above. People who aren't accustomed to these heights are the most vulnerable. There are no monsters or animals who dare to live in this harsh environment. Even if there is a monster capable of surviving in this forest. Why would they? The forest has almost nothing to offer. There was no food. There is no prey for strong monsters. There is barely anything growing

Belle is still making an uneasy expression around Dia. On the other hand, Falfa looks stressed for reasons she didn’t want to discuss. As for me, seeing my former lover and my current lover sitting opposite each other is plain awkward. “Spaghetti meatballs… These bring back memories.” Dia said. “It was you who teach me how to do this dish. A tough cookie like myself always begins his day with a nice cup of coffee. For us who dwelled in the shadows, making our living as spies, there was nothing better than taking up a cup of strong coffee to prevent our heads from feeling sleepy. Pumping ourselves full of coffee and drugs was the way of the world-weary. I mixed a drop of the medicine into my coffee and drank it down. This is my daily routine. I’d never been sure of what was in those drugs. I took them from a mail-order catalog. But they were super expensive, so I was convinced they were beneficial to my health. I took the cup and sipped it. “Bleh! So bitter…” This strong flavor was actually what banished sleepiness. Probably. That wasn’t written anywhere in the books, though. Coffee was bitter and gross and seriously tasted like mud, which triggered my gag reflex and made drowsiness my second priority. It didn’t taste anything like how they describe it in the spy novels. They wrote that black coffee was delicious or

Eden city, City hall. Dia clutched her temples trying to relieve some stress. “What is going on?” She whispered and stood up from her seat to get some tea. (I was gone for quite a while and problems pile up. Is that murderous Latina still doing her job? I take that back, she’s doing her job. She hated me more than anyone in this world. But she’s a big help, that’s for sure. I could not imagine myself doing this intense work without her.) Dia spawled back in her seat. She blow the hot steam first and sniff the relaxing aroma for a moment before she made her first little sip. She then shifted her sight to the paper laying on the desk. Most of them are report letters for spies Dia deployed to investigate other kingdoms' actions. The land that pull her interest the most was the neighboring country Ruki kingdom and The remote Islands of Youko. Youko wasn’t part of the world organization and they always push any offer from other countries as if saying that they could survive on their

“I’m dead!” I sat up as I woke up. Immediately I have my hand on my chest and check my wound. There are no wounds in my chest. My body is perfectly fine. I was skeptical myself and look around. The place where I found myself wasn’t someplace I know. There's no floor but I’m sitting. No walls or anything. The closest description I could ever think of was that this place looks like the starry night sky I usually gaze into. From some angles, this place looks majestic. I didn’t notice immediately, but there was a girl sitting on a throne in front of me. The face same as Elaina's. This girl was the Cosmo witch. “You really mess up there.” She said. “You here to help me again. Thank you so much…” “Help you?” The witch gives me a cold gaze. My limbs were torn apart and my head was skewered by a golden sword. “... Don’t get ahead of yourself. I’m not helping you or anything. Well, in some aspect we can say that I was helping you.
