Chapter #03.  The Legend

Zhao Yun slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the ceiling of the room that had a picture of the sky with all its contents, then he got up from his lying position, and he looked around the room.

"It turns out that in heaven there are rooms and other things, here the equipment is very complete, just like the real world, the wounds on my body have also completely healed, it's clear I'm dead..." He said in a monologue.

Zhao Yun started to walk around the room, after a few moments of looking around the room, his nose smelled a very fragrant aroma and it hit his nose, he quickly followed the very familiar scent.

"Food!" He said happily.

But he fell silent again because he was still confused by his situation,

"Why am I hungry? Why is there food in this room? Isn't there something like this in the world of the dead? Did those books get it wrong?" he said again with a tone of confusion.

"It turns out you would rather die than be alive?" Said a voice that echoed in his mind.

Zhao Yun immediately looked and searched for the source of the sound that echoed in his mind, he became alert to the situation now!

"There's no need to panic and be alert, I'm speaking through my telepathy, eat first, after that we'll talk later," said the voice again echoing in Zhao Yun's head.

Zhao Yun remained alert, staying in his place while maintaining a vigilant demeanor. The experiences he had gone through in the black dragon sect made him more cautious in trusting anyone.

One incense of stick passed, there was no sign that Zhao Yun would move from his place.

"You seem stubborn too, fine if that's what you want!" Said the voice echoing in his head again.

A bright light blinded Zhao Yun's vision for a moment, he closed his eyes because of the glare of the light, after a few moments Zhao Yun opened his eyes again.

His eyes widened, his body stiffened, his legs shook violently, he suddenly lost his strength because he saw a figure one mi in front of him.

Moreover, the figure stared at him sharply with sharp teeth as big as his body, one short breath the figure immediately made all the clothes he was wearing disappear, Zhao Yun was pushed and fell several mi backwards.

" D... Dragon ! "He said tensely,

Zhao Yun then turned around and ran away, but every time he ran, a light would always appear which made him return to the black dragon.

After dozens of tries with the same ending, Zhao Yun finally stayed where he was, sweaty and tired.

"I'm giving you a choice! Do you want to eat the food on the table or will you become food for the black dragon in front of you?" Said the voice again echoing in his head firmly.

"I'm going to eat!" Zhao Yun answered quickly because he knew that his voice sounded very serious now.

Zhao Yun still hadn't moved from his spot, he was confused by the situation, having to eat in front of a black dragon with such a high realm.

" What you are waiting for! Don't test my patience!" said the voice again.

"Master...eh...master, can this junior get dressed first, really this junior can't eat completely naked like this!" Zhao Yun said honestly.

A blink of an eye later, an outfit appeared in front of him, Zhao Yun hurriedly put on the outfit as quickly as possible, he then sat on a chair and started eating the food on the dining table.

Just one mouthful of Zhao Yun eating the food on the table, his body began to feel pain that hit all the pores on his body.

"Don't complain too much, eat and finish it!" Said the voice getting louder in his head.

Zhao Yun insisted on eating the food provided, but after a while he felt a significant change in his body and blood flow, knowing that the food had medicinal properties, Zhao Yun ate like a person who got possessed. Moreover, he did not deny that the food served on the table eating it is very delicious.

After all the food on the dining table was gone, Zhao Yun felt a burning heat coming from his stomach.

"What happened to me! Why does my body feel like it's being burned from the inside!?" Zhao Yun asked to himself.

"What you ate earlier was medicinal food made by me, it consists of stomach cleansers, blood cleansers, marrow and bone cleansers and pore openers, as well as foods to open the meridians and three dantians," said the voice again echoing in his head.

Zhao Yun was stunned and didn't know what to say after hearing the voice's words, words that really didn't make sense to him.

Zhao Yun wanted to answer but the pain in his body made him completely helpless.

"Aaaarrrgghhhh"

Zhao Yun's screams echoed, he felt his whole body throbbing, as if it was being squeezed, not to mention his bones seemed to be broken and crushed. Every hole in his body and pores released all the residue and dirt that had settled.

All of these things made him fall to the ground, Zhao Yun truly felt the feeling of being between life and death, the pain made him despair and intend to surrender.

"Don't give up! Fight! Don't you have a goal in this life! Make that the basis and reason why you have to live" said the voice again echoing in his head.

"Yes, I have to live! Because I have to take revenge and I still have to repay those who have helped me stay alive"

"Don’t let hatred be your life's goal! Because something that starts poorly will surely end poorly! Plant good things in yourself, because I know you are a good person." The voice said again.

Zhao Yun was pensive at the voice's words, he realized that he had become blind and closed his eyes because of the betrayal of those closest to him.

"Aaarrrggghhh" Zhao Yun's scream echoed again as pain hit his body again.

This time the look of anger and revenge that shone in his eyes was replaced by a look of hope and strong desire.

This time Zhao Yun endured all the pain he was experiencing, he was now determined to get better

Revenge only ends temporarily, while good intentions will never end. Zhao Yun in this situation experienced an enlightenment in his life

A human figure emerged from the light, a handsome young man with a simple appearance who came out of the light walked towards him.

In an almost unconscious state, Zhao Yun widened his eyes. His eyes lit up when he saw the figure of the young man. A big smile immediately appeared on Zhao Yun's face when he saw him.

"The... Legend!" He said slowly
