"First Bomb" °•○●
It took a minute or two until Ren lit the torch. He was ready to enter the passage to the bottom of the cave. When he had entered a more tidy, earthy room than the ground at the entrance. Without the passage behind it and the cave-like area visible from there, it would have been possible to assume that it was a normal mudbrick house belove ground.
Ren didn't dare to enter here on his previous visit (fall). He didn't have the knife he brought with him and he had no torch.
Yesterday things were different. He had found the small hunting knife taken from home and bought one or two torches, though not as much as today. And he realized that it was an interesting place. He just looked inside for a quick second and run to the outside.
He is just eight so...
As much as this light zone resembles a mudbrick house, the situation has changed as the light increases and the interior becomes brighter. Ren could now see as he realized yesterday that this isn't a room but a sort of patio. This mubrick clearing was just the front part of a door!
The reason he came to such a quick conclusion was the iron door just ahead. The walls attached to the sides of the door were covered with strange material that didn't resemble stone. And these walls stretched five meters to the sides. There were normal earth walls on both the left and right ends.
Returning to the door; it was a normal two-meter-wide door in general. It looked like iron, but Ren wasn't sure if it was, even if it didn't show any rusty or worn parts. There was only one lock-like round on the door. And he couldn't figure out how to open it with a key.
After all, Ren was just an 8-year-old boy, and it wasn't unusual for him to make that progress and enter the cave despite the darkness. But Ren insisted on opening the door and finally found a cure.
He decided to blow the door!
Ren put the light in his hand in the middle of the room so that all sides looked equal with light. He approached the door slowly. Took the leaves from his bag and put outside the last few things from the bag onto the floor. Except for the leaves, there was nothing really important. He took 500 grams of gunpowder wrapped in a bag and put the bag of gunpowder on the ground with extra care.
He has known for a long time that dried Red Pan leaves have been used to make explosives. He knew this because his family and especially his clan was one of the best alchemist traders in the city. Ren had been taught a lot of things related to family business
But because he was just too little, he had to buy the leaves and other materials from outside with expensive prices. He was a bit sad fort he Money he spent.
Dried pan leaves have a very special red color aroma. Ren did not know that this substance had very weak levels of Nitric Acid-HNO3 (Kezzap). But he had read from the book he found at home that this liquid was used to make explosives. In fact, he was about to make his first bomb, after coming across a book that wrote exactly how to make an explosive. Finding that book was really pure luck.
And while this explosive was the first for Ren, it wasn't going to be the last. Because at that moment, Ren had a crooked smile on his face.
Ren placed the box he had stolen from the Gan villa storage next to the gunpowder placed on the ground. Inside the box was a colorless and odorless sweet liquid. Ren knew that this liquid was used to treat certain diseases. He had even heard that people with blocked ears drip this liquid into their ears to clean them. (Glycerin-C3H8O3)
His family distributed many variants of such fluids to various health centers and schools. But he had also learned that this liquid was sent in huge quantities to the city army. Even on the box he stole from the warehouse was a picture of the city's military emblem, the winged panther. It was a strange name. The city got its name "Flying Panther" from the winged panther, an epic animal that saved the city long ago. No one believed the story these days, but it was an important symbol for the city.
Ren placed eight leaves in a row in the colorless liquid and watched them soften in a matter of seconds. The leaves, which were sizzling and crumbling like scallops, slowly mixed with the liquid and began to foam. Eventually, a slime-like substance appeared in a muddy form. Ren smiled with the form of the liquid was exactly the same as what was written in the book.
He poured the liquid very slowly into the bag containing the powder. The slime, which was already half solid, began to harden the moment it came into contact with the gunpowder. Ren used a cloth he had brought with him so as not to get his hands in it, and divided all the solidified mixture in half.
At the end were two crooked explosive balls. In the making of this explosive, he used gunpowder, colorless glycerin, which is used to make a normal TNT, and nitric acid contained in the leaf. A perfect formula was perfectly used!
When the two-piece balls had completely hardened, Ren poked them both with a stick. He put one of the pieces right in front of the door while he was afraid that they would explode at any moment.
From what Ren read from the book, this thing was now simply called L1B (level 1 bomb). It was one of the simplest explosives, but even in its current form, if Ren fired it from afar, it would explode. But he was skeptical when it also said it could explode with a sudden gust of wind or temperature changes. "Just come on, sudden gust of wind and temperature. Really?"
"What if it explodes in my own hand when I try to throw it?"
So he went away and tied a few pieces of trash that he had prepared earlier with a rope. He was ready to throw the garbage ball, which he had compressed well and burned from the end, right on the bomb he prepared. The moment he threw it, he was thinking of running to the entrance of the cave.
Stretch your arm and smash the burning piece of the bomb on the ground with all your might. Just as he saw burning ball was heading towards the bomb, kid turned around to run with all his might. But before he even took a few steps, there was a great noise with massive vibrations behind him.
Before Ren even knew what had happened, he found himself sitting on the floor holding his ears. The slight ringing in his ears didn't pass for a while. The frightened boy didn't make the slightest effort to get up from the ground until his ears get better. He was proud that something he made could make that much noise, but the thought of hurting his ears was frightening.
When everything calmed down, he got up and approached the door, where he was expecting for the bomb to break it. But the result wasn't what he had hoped for.
There wasn't even a scratch on the door. Moreover, the ground had broken up and formed a small crater. As it was messy and dusty, Ren noticed something. The metal parts below the door that should have been stuck to the ground was turning 90 degrees and closing the bottom.
So, this wasn't a metal door made in dirt, but this was a" cube shaped metal room!"
..
Ren was a little stunned as he spent all his money on two bombs he made and the treasures inside this room. Now the little boy was angry when he looked stupidly at the door. All of his dreams slowly faded away, and all that was left was a childish stubbornness. He was eight years old, after all, and when he set his mind to do something, he forgot everything and focused on it.
I will beat you .. door.
Yes. Ren's first official enemy in this life was a door.
Even though there were some cracks in the walls of the earthen entrance, when he saw that there was nothing wrong with the ceiling, Ren was pleased and returned to the entrance. He took his bag with him and dropped his second explosive at the cave entrance where it seemed the most peaceful. He would find a way to use it in the future, anyway.
On his way out of the cave, he was already thinking about the money he had spent that day and other ways to open the door.
He knew there were so many ways to make money in the world. Just like his parents, he also understood business. Producing and selling natural alchemical materials was a good way to start your business. He could buy metals cheap and sell them blacksmiths who use them to make weapons. And most importantly, he could make creature farms (Tamed Animal or Low levelled Wild Monsters).
In his head, Ren was able to set up everything necessary to create the perfect business establishment. But he also knew that he needed start-up capital for these. Before entering his house, he cleaned himself a little, then put an innocent expression on his face. He calmly opened the door to not disturbing his mom and dad.

His father, on the other hand, was just a regular employee doing errands. Ren was sure they would both instantly recognize the smell of gunpowder and smoke.
