Elvis was finally settling into his new place. It wasn't much, but it was his. As he sat on his couch, he couldn't help but think about his Nana. He had left her behind at Barbados because he was trying to start his own business. After he went through Elvis was determined never to give up.

He picked up his phone and called his friend Alice, the one who had given him the house. "Thank you again, Alice. I really appreciate this," he said.

"Of course, Elvis. You deserve it. I know how hard you've been working," Alice replied.

Elvis smiled. He had been working tirelessly on his business, trying to make it a success. He had faced so many obstacles, but he refused to give up.

As Elvis hung up the phone, he couldn't help but think about Alice and the way she made him feel. He had always admired her from afar, but never had the courage to tell her how he felt. He decided that today was the day he would finally confess his love to her.
