CHAPTER 16
Only the sound of an oar inside the river, paddling the boat filled their ears regardless the hoof of horses from afar that quivered the ground like an occurring earthquake, running towards the gate of the blank world. Cynthia's heartbeat along with others on the boat, though were beating, but not for life anymore rather changed to a beating drum of death. Blood must be spilled that night. They knew it, wondering who that could be. Cynthia occasionally looked from the twins to Benny who understood, scrupulously every details that her brain was giving her even the death drum of her heartbeat. So he held her by the hand, feeling the warmth it sent through his epidemics which caught both attention, staring at each other's eyes, while Sunday kept paddling the boat and Amaya watching them display an affection.

Benny gently reached to Cynthia's lips, kiss her surprisingly to the young lady then said, "Calm down, we must make it out here together."

Cynthia nodded in agreement, swallowing hard
