ERICA'S TRAVEL: The Strangers land

Chapter Four: The Abnormal one

" What the actual fuck!" Oma shouted drawing the attention of everyone inside the classroom. 

" Oma, you never mentioned you have a beautiful sister" One of the male students said curiously, the other male students made a weird funny expression when he had said that

"Sister?" She said in disbelief as she stared at Erica who was just sitting on the chair with her hand placed on the desk " We are distant sisters and none of you are that close to me to know" Oma lied 

" Well, I believe that because she looks nothing like you" another teased causing the others to burst out in laughter. 

Oma gave Erica a cold stare before approaching her, she was interrupted by the sudden presence of the class teacher as everyone stood up to greet. Before the teacher could question Erica, she walked out of the class leaving the teacher wondering who she was. 

" You never mentioned having a distant sister to me" Lilian said to Oma from the back seat. 

" S... she is just one of the adults from the orphanage who was close to me back then, it has been long I saw her; I still can't believe she would find me" Oma lied in other not to make things more complicated.

She would seem crazy if she starts explaining how she met with Erica, she is already going crazy over it. 

"Okay... " Lilian answered and continued opening her textbook. 

When the morning class was over. Oma didn't hesitate to leave the class room first in search for somewhere to hide that moment before the second class starts, which was going to be attended in the science lab. Lilian stood in awe not understanding why Oma was acting weird. 

Oma sat on top of the toilet seat when she had entered the toilet. she had placed her phone on Airplane mode so that none of her class mates would contact her to tell her that someone was looking for her...

" You are probably wasting your time hiding from me " 

Oma looked up and saw Erica looking down at her from the top of the toilet door. she shouted in shock at the sight of her 

"Come on out" Erica told her. Oma quickly opened the door, she stood there looking at her for nearly five minutes 

" How the hell did you find me? Did you put a tracker on me or what?" She curiously asked 

" Almost everyone at the party goes to your school, so it wasn't that difficult to follow them here" she responded 

" Why didn't I think of that?" Oma questioned herself as she cursed herself for been the biggest idiot that moment. 

" And also... I can smell your scent from the crowd, I saw you leave with your boyfriend last night; I just wanted to show you that you can't run away from me till I permit it" she added giving her goosebumps all over her body

" You are really abnormal; you are driving me crazy " Oma scoffed in disbelief

" Now I have gotten your attention, tell me about the sea foods here" she said to her.

(Riveria) 

"Princess, do you think Erica would survive outside the human world?" Amanda, the princess personal maid asked 

"Don't underestimate Erica, she is stronger and smarter than you think; it wouldn't be hard for her to mingle with them" Princess Adunni answered 

" The human world is tougher than what we know about them; their language was hard to learn talk more of associating with them" Amanda said 

" Are you worried about her now? She doesn't even associate with anyone except the queen " Princess Adunni said 

" Forgive me princess, I am just afraid that if the queen sister Vashi finds out that Riveria's strongest warrior is absence; she would come out of her hiding place to hunt the sirens again" Amanda said softly 

" Are you also doubting that I can be of any help in this kingdom? " The princess furiously asked looking at her 

" Not at all my princess, I am just worried that there won't be enough hand to fight if war broke out; it's been 8years of peace now" she answered 

" You should be worried about my mother the queen, she is more dangerous than you think" princess Adunni said looking closely at her.

(The undersea forbidden dungeon) 

" Move it" The queen ordered. 

The two merman's who were with her quickly rolled out the giant stone out of the way

" Wait here" the queen ordered and they bowed to her in respect. She went into the dungeon after she had made sure the guards were standing guard outside of it. 

"What brought you here again Ona? are you already bored of ruling your sirens" Questioned a weak voice inside the dungeon. 

" Sister, am glad you recognized me as the queen " the queen said facing the old mermaid that was caged in shark bones. 

The mermaid spits on the water in disgust 

" I bet the sirens thinks I am hiding; whereas you tied me up here " her sister said 

" You are already half dead, according to my sea witch, you have two months to live; then you will be dead and forgotten sister" the queen said smiling devilishly 

" You wouldn't have been able to trap me if you hadn't used my daughter as a bait to lure me in" her sister said angrily 

" Speaking of your daughter Erica who is our little secret, I sent her on a mission to the human world " the queen said with a smirk

" You snake!!" Her sister shouted as she dangled the cage to free herself but to no avail "What have you done?" She angrily asked 

" She is a very loyal mermaid and would die for me, I still don't like the fact that she came from inside of you; she have your dirty blood so I sent her out to the human world, she won't last you know" the queen said still laughing.

Her sister burst out laughing with her too but stopped half way 

" So, you are afraid that one day she would find out you took her away from me? she would be against you and fight you " her sister said as she continued laughing.

The queen smiled devilishly and draws closer to her looking straight to her eye that they can hear each others breath

" Not at all, I know that one day all this might happen but my reason for sending her out to the human world alone Is for you to die wondering what might had happened to her; you would be restless even in death, that's the punishment for killing my king" she said giving her a death stare

She laughs out loud when she saw the expression on her sister's face. 

" You psycho! you killed your husband yourself! Leave my daughter out of this!" She shouted 

" Oh yes... I did, he deserved it for fancying you over me; you made me do it" The queen said swimming out and laughing.

Her sister dangled the cage angrily 

" You will never get away with this! The gods of the sirens won't let you go free!" She shouted at her sister. 

" I am the gods, i make the rules" the queen said.

(The science lab) 

" Do you see the handsome black boy over there?" Oma questioned pointing at the young boy who was sitting inside the lab class getting ready for the 2nd lesson which would be taking place at the science lab. 

"Yes" Erica answered 

" His name is lava, his father owns these rich kids school Bellaire and the highest commercial fish industry" Oma told her as Erica looks closely at him

Not bad" she said

" See ya, i am going in for my lesson " Oma said " why is she interested in the marine ecosystem?" She wondered. 

(Riveria) 

The queen headed to her chamber after her return from the dungeon, the princess bumped into her by mistake while swimming in a hurry with Amanda

" Sorry mother" she apologized bowing down to her 

The queen stared coldly at her "Beware, Sirens are watching how you spend your time" she said

" Do you think i care mother? are you going to kill me like you betray the king when i am unworthy?" the princess asked her

" You should be afraid not to mess with me" The queen said turning towards her.
