All Geared Up

Alex's POV

We returned from the daily quest after successfully completing it. Although, we faced a lot of casualties that were resolved the moment we stepped into the lobby.

Completing the quest wasn't the hard part, the hard part was taking down the guardian and the fact we almost failed in completing the puzzle.

That alone… would have been hell.

It all started with Liam charging in as the guardian awakened and sought to attack us.

The downside of this whole fight was the fact we didn't know what we were up against worsened it. But all in all, we were being passive after we saw what it could do.

It mostly relies on spraying beans of concentrated energy at its prey, we were lucky to avoid that, even Isabella was fortunate to not get it.

All I did was search for it blind spot.

My shield was even destroyed in the process, its prehensile tail destroyed my shield on contact and took its chance to attack.

But thanks to Liam and Isabella, I managed to escape before it
