Thanks for reading!
“Anyways, let us go on to the second monster,” Arthur said as he continued walking. “Let me guess. The next monster is also going to be made out of the human body.” Jonathan said. "Yeah, pretty much. According to the book, every monster that we will be fighting is made out of human corpses. Arthur replied. “No wonder this place reeks of death. It's quite depressing to walk around this place considering the monsters that are here used to be humans at some point in their lives. But now they are nothing but monsters that will roam this place as long as players climb the tower. " Jonathan said. Now, as they were in the middle of the left hallway, they could see a door on their right. Arthur walked to the door and tried to open it using the handle, but it seemed to be locked. However, the door looked weak and there was nothing other than the handle that was keeping it locked. Pah! And so Arthur kicked the door open and made the broken door fly into the room, crashing the things in it.
“This guy is looking stronger! And it is not dying now! " Jonathan said. “Yeah, but let us see if it can handle the heat!” Arthur said as he lit up his hands with magic fire. He then blasted the creature with flames, but the creature dodged the attack by moving to the right. It then dashed towards Arthur while its fist enlarged in size. Pow! Arthur got hit by the punch, making Arthur jerk back and fall to the ground. “Ahhh!” Arthur shouted as he tried to get up. Jonathan saw this and pulled the hands of the monster and threw the monster back. With Jonathan buying time for Arthur, he drank the health potion and got back all of his health. He then saw his armor and could see that some parts were slightly dented. “Jonathan, these things are strong! Don't underestimate that guy! " Arthur shouted as he saw Jonathan fighting against the humanoid monster. “Yeah, I can see that!” Jonathan said as he exchanged blows with the zombie. Although the zombie was receiving a lot of damage f
The zombie exited the room and slid down, allowing Arthur and Jonathan to catch up to it temporarily. It then stood on its legs and hands and ran like an animal. Fwoosh! It ran on its two legs and hands, leaving Arthur and Jonathan to smell the dust that it left. “That guy is pretty smart!” Jonathan said. “We can’t allow it to get more time to think! Who knows what it is trying to plan?” He added. “Yeah!” Arthur said as he ran with his longsword. ‘Fire is not working, melee attacks is not working. What can I do to kill that coachroach-like creature?’ Arthur thought to himself while he ran after the zombie. As he reached the right hallway where they last saw the zombie run, they saw even more hallways. Arthur looked around and turned to Jonathan. “Break every wall you can find!” He said to Jonathan. Jonathan didn't question him and started running through the walls of the right hallway, destroying the sub-hallways there. As he did that, a giant human face there with small legs and a
Jonathan saw the creature bleeding and rushed in to give it a powerful kick. Suddenly, from the left, a powerful force pushed him away. Jonathan looked to the right to see what pushed him and saw the zombie that he and Arthur fought with each other. The humanoid zombie then drove its hands into the head of the giant head zombie, killing it instantly. Suddenly, it pulled a red gemstone out of the giant head zombie's head and threw the dead zombie remains on the floor. Jonathan stood and tried to run toward the zombie, but at that point, it was already too late. The creature pressed the red gemstone into its chest, and suddenly health potions were flowing into its body. Arthur, who had just recovered from the temporary, saw what was going on and wanted to use the move that he had just learned. [SKILL “MANA EXPLOSION” LEARNT!] Arthur then used his newly developed skill to explode the body of the zombie just like he did to the giant head zombie. But after the smoke from the explosion
Arthur walked towards the gemstones and picked them up and left them in his inventory. “Well, that's the end of the second mission, I guess,” Jonathan said as he saw the ashes of exploded zombies in the air falling to the ground slowly. “Yep. Time for the third and last mission. " Arthur said as he walked to the second hallway happily. He was glad that he had already dealt with the hardest part of this floor’s gate and that everything was now going to be smooth-sailing according to the instructional booklet that he read. He walked through the hallway and entered the room where they previously fought with the mouthless zombie. “Why are we here again?” Jonathan asked. “I'm just following the booklet,” Arthur replied as he walked to one of the tables where he found a pattern on it. And just like what the booklet instructed, he rubbed his finger on top of the table until he felt like he could press something. Click! The table reacted and a key popped out of the table that Arthur pr
“Sure,” Jonathan said, and as he approached the table, he saw a very light line around the table. “Found it!” He shouted. “What?! That fast? You’ve got to be kidding me. " Arthur said. "No, I am serious,” Jonathan replied. “Well, click it,” Arthur said. “Okay,” Jonathan said before clicking on the almost invisible button, and suddenly strong mana burst out from the huge metal disc that was placed in the middle of the room that they were in. Arthur almost flew back and had to hold on to the long table to just stay there, but Jonathan had no problem standing up and even walked towards the disc that was bursting with mana. The mana burst calmed down after a few seconds, and Arthur could finally stand on his own without the support of the table. The giant disc had a screen of mana in the middle. Jonathan and Arthur finally realized what the giant disc was. “It's a teleporter!” Arthur and Jonathan shouted at the same time. “Jinx!” Arthur shouted and pointed towards Jonathan. “
“So does that mean that all of you are surrendering?” Jonathan asked as he saw the scared demons looking at Arthur and him. The demons wanted to surrender, but they couldn't say anything unless the Demon King allowed them to do so. The Demon King then raised his sword toward Arthur. “We… surrender.” He said as he dropped the sword. The other demons then breathe a sigh of relief, seeing that their king made the smart decision rather than bringing them to their death. “So, you're not going to fight for your pride and defend your honor?” Arthur asked. The Demon King then looked at Arthur and smiled. “Honor means nothing when the soldier can't tell his honorable stories to the ones that he loves.” He said. “Wow, you speak wise words for a demon.” Arthur said. Somehow, the demons and the Demon King looked offended at what Arthur at just said about that. “You make it sound that as if we are True Demons…” The Demon King said. Arthur was confused about what the Demon King had jus
As the last demon signed the contract that Arthur had given to him, a system notification popped up for Arthur, Jonathan, and Sun Wukong. [CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE CLEARED THE THIRD MISSION! REWARDS HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO YOUR INVENTORY SYSTEM! YOU HAVE CLEARED ALL THE MISSIONS FOR THE GATE OF THE SIXTH FLOOR, WOULD YOU LIKE TO PROCEED TO THE LOCUS OF THE SIXTH FLOOR?] “Ahh… So Arthur defeated them, by making them sign the contract against their own free will…” Sun Wukong said. “Hey! Wukong! I already said that I am not enslaving them! And I didn't force them!” Arthur shouted as he threw to Sun Wukong the contract that he gave the demons. As Wukong read the contract, he realized that the contract wasn't a slave contract but rather a peace treaty that would help both sides equally. “Ah, I see…” Wukong said as he apologized to Arthur. “You really think badly of me, don't you? Is it because I have a short history of being a politician?” Arthur asked. Suddenly, Wukong felt a very str
