“I think I might know just how.” The Demon King said. Jonathan, Arthur, and Sun Wukong turned towards the Demon King who was behind them, “Oh, ok. How do we find the treasure of Caelum Magus? " Arthur asked. “It's very simple. We will just burn the whole library, and the book that doesn't burn is the treasure. " The Demon King said. “Wait, how are you so sure that this plan will work?” Sun Wukong asked. “Every artifact that he has created has some sort of fire resistance on it and won't burn under the heat of a naturally made flame.” The Demon King replied. “Trust me, I was one of his biggest enemies. I know him more than most humans.” He added. “I see, that makes sense,” Arthur replied as he verified the validity of the Demon King's claim. Everyone knew what they were going to do and exited the library. Everyone stood behind Arthur, who was preparing his magic fire, and when he was about to cast the fire on the library, he stopped himself. ‘Wait, since my magic fire skill has be
I have found out that I have made a big mistake in my novel and I would like to apologize to my readers who have read the novel up to this point and have paid for all of those chapters. I am sincerely sorry. I have made the mistake of using the name "Mastria Gilbert" from chapter 108 to chapter 110 when it was supposed to be Caelum Magus. I am currently in the process of getting the edited chapters published and replacing the chapters that I made the mistake in. I will try my best to not repeat this mistake again. Thank you to those who have supported me this far.
As they checked through the whole library thoroughly, they found nothing and came out of the library disappointed. “How could there be nothing there?” Jonathan asked as he brushed off the ash and snow that were on him. “Sigh, I don't know. Let us just check how much the demons have audited. " Arthur said. And shockingly, after just a few hours, the demons have already audited more than eight hundred thousand books. Sun Wukong then tried looking everywhere he could to find the missing piece in this puzzle that even he didn't know existed. He then saw the painting of the great Magus, and suddenly an idea struck him. He turned to Arthur and Jonathan while pointing at the painting. “What if there is something hidden in the painting?” He asked. Artur’s eyes brightened, and he shouted, “Wukong, you're a genius! We should dismantle the frame and see what could be hidden there! " “Well, I was going to say that there might be a secret behind the painting, like a secret message. But your p
“Wait… Don't tell me that the origami book was not just meant to be a book, but a key???!!!” The Demon King shouted in surprise. Caelum Magus surprised everyone by hiding his treasures in one of the weirdest but somewhat fun ways possible. “He does live up to his name,” Sun Wukong said as he looked at Arthur, who was holding the book. “Anyways, what is the title of the book?” He asked Arthur. “Hold on, let me check...” Arthur said before he looked at the front cover of the book. As he saw the title of the book, he froze and his heart stopped. 'What the heck, am I hallucinating? Am I really seeing this title on the book?’ He thought. “Hey, what's going on?” Jonathan asked. “Tell us what the title is.” He said. Jonathan, Sun Wukong, the Demon King, and the demon army were all waiting to hear what Arthur was about to say. Arthur composed himself, and he acted as if he wasn't that surprised by the title of the book. “Dragon Magic by Caelum Magus.” Arthur lied. “DRAGON MAGIC???” Every
“Da,” The young lady tapped her father’s back as she pointed at Arthur. "Da, is the Behemoth there, or am I still dreaming?” She asked while her mouth was open wide. “I told ya shouldn’t go to the Plaza! If you did, you would have missed this opportunity of a lifetime! " He said as he walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner. “And get their drinks ready!” He added. The girl then looked at the three men, and as she saw Arthur Behemoth taking off his helmet, her heart started to beat faster than ever before, and she could feel the blood rushing up her face. ‘Get a hold of yourself, Alanna!’ She told herself. ‘Although he looks young, he is probably even older than his dad. And I have to prepare their drinks!’ She thought as she ran back to the kitchen to finish her job. Arthur, Jonathan, and Sun Wukong were unaware of the girl staring at them and were talking amongst themselves. “I would say that it has been a very successful week for us!” Arthur said. “It is indeed. Not only have
Arthur then fell down as his vision became very blurry. “Sigh, as expected, I am still light years away from being as strong as you,” Arthur said. “That's true.” Sun Wukong replied. “And that is why we should head to the 7th-floor gate.” He added. “You want to go there already? It has only been a day since we arrived here. Shouldn't we, like, just rest for a while? " Arthur asked. “We will be staying here for a bit. But we won't be resting. Since we can’t get your armor and weapons repaired to their best condition by meeting the Information Guild engineers now, we will be going to alternatives instead. " Sun Wukong said as he put on his jacket and walked towards the door. “Alright. So where are we going to get my armor repaired?” Arthur asked as Sun Wukong opened the door. “Well, other than human engineers, the dwarves on this floor are very good at repairing weapons and armor, and since the weapons and armor that you have right now aren't S rank items, they should be able to upg
The girl then turned to look at Sun Wukong and Arthur “I will be going back to park the carriage. Since both of you seem to know this place well, I guess you don’t need my help?” Allana asked. “You may return.” Sun Wukong said. Allana then went back, leaving Arthur and Sun Wukong alone. “I thought we were supposed to be fixing my armor and weapons. Why are we in a black market now? " Arthur asked. “First of all, this isn't a black market. This is just where people buy and sell things illegally. " Sun Wukong said. “Isn't that just the same thing???” Arthur asked. “Yes.” Sun Wukong said as he continued walking, looking around. “Follow me.” Sun Wukong said as he walked through the crowd and arrived with Arthur at a place where a dwarf was sitting down and polishing a weapon. The dwarf felt strong shadows covering him, and as he looked up, he saw two men in a cloak and a mask. “What do you want?” The dwarf asked in a rude manner. “Do you fix weapons?” Sun Wukong asked. “Yeah. B
“So they are pretty much just slaves to the loan sharks of this place?” Arthur asked. “Not really," Sun Wukong replied. “They still have some rights. But they will have to be like workers for a certain period of time and do what the loan sharks want them to do to clear their debt.” Sun Wukong added. “That still sounds like slavery. I bet the loan shark would find a way to get around that to make the poor guys their slaves for life. " Arthur said. “Well, the contracts that the people who take loans have are pretty fair and are protected by mana to ensure the safety of the people taking loans, else the Behemoth Guild would have already made an army of slaves.” Sun Wukong replied. “Plus, it is not even in the loansharks' best interest that they get their money back. The people that owe them money are normally nothing but a hassle to have.” He added. "I see..." So the only people who attend these fights are people who are in a lot of debt, right? " Arthur asked. “Not all of them.” Su
