Jonathan walked closer to the door and put his head near the door as he held his revolver in his hand, pointing it towards the door. “I am here, Salvador,” Jonathan said. “Good… now I just want to ask you, why are you doing this to me?” Salvador asked. “Doing what? You guys are the ones that come knocking at my door every single day, and every time I open the door you will take your baseball bat and beat me to a pulp! " Jonathan shouted. There were no response from the other side of the door. And Jonathan could hear the steps walking away from the door. ‘They couldn’t have felt guilty from what I said, right?’ Jonathan thought. Bam! Suddenly, the door was kicked open by a few men behind it, and Jonathan, who was just behind it, flew back a few steps and dropped his gun. Salvador walked towards Jonathan and saw the revolver that was on the ground. “Oh, mother of... Look at what we have here, boys! " He said to his goons as he picked up the revolver. “A gun! He was going to kill u
“No, I... don't have dreams.” Jonathan said as he rubbed his head. As he did that, he could see his hands, which he had never seen. And he realized that his size was similar to Arthur’s. His size wasn't towering or domineering anymore; he was just normal. “Did it work? Am I a human player now?” Jonathan asked excitedly. “Well, you're a human... just not a player yet." Arthur replied. “So how am I going to become a player?” Jonathan asked. “You just have to sign this.” Arthur handed Jonathan a black piece of paper. The words on that piece of paper were written using gold ink. Jonathan read the conditions of the contract and was shocked to see one of the conditions being that he would be unable to respawn. “Am I able to respawn?” Jonathan asked. Arthur nodded, “When a floor is cleared, every creature that is killed will be respawned for the next player to kill. But if you respawn, it means that your memory will also be erased. Being a player means giving up your benefits as a mob.
Arthur was in the hallway of the Information Guild, humming, and was taking his time. He looked at his watch and saw that he was three minutes late for the meeting, but he still took his time and even waited in front of the waiting room just to pass time. As he entered the meeting room, he could see the 4th floor branch leader of the Behemoth Guild waiting for him. “Thank you for meeting me, Mr. Behemoth.” The Behemoth Guild branch leader said. Arthur sat down on a chair right across from the branch leader, “So, what is your proposition? Do you want us to break the contract with the MPA?” He asked. “No, you can keep your contract with the MPA. We just want to also collaborate and support the production and the use of the Behemoth Dollar.” The Behemoth Guild branch leader said. Arthur was actually surprised at how friendly the proposition was. “What are the conditions?” Arthur asked. “You give us 80% of all the net profit of the Behemoth Bill and give us 50% of the power over
“NOOO!!!” Arthur shouted as veins started popping near his neck. Although Odal was vaporized, he could still see parts of the remains that were still left; his bones, his hair, and the blood that splattered everywhere. Arthur then turned back to face the 4th floor branch Behemoth Guild leader. The branch leader was still shocked to see what had just happened; “Arthur, I didn't mean for this to happen...” He said. Now that he didn't have any hostages, Arthur could kill him without hesitation now. Arthur then took out his halberd and walked towards the branch leader. Seeing this, the Behemoth Guild branch leader took a step back, trying to calm Arthur down. “Please! I didn't mean any of this to happen! " He shouted. Arthur kept walking towards him with tears rolling down his cheeks, his face full of anger and hatred. “If you didn't mean any of this to happen! Then why in towers would you use an explosive chain and torture Odal like that? " He shouted. The branch leader then took ou
On the 4th floor, Information Guild Investigative Department, Arthur used his invisibility skill and sneaked inside it without anybody noticing. And only he and another investigator were inside the room, who was unaware of his presence. The investigator was keeping some files and was preparing to go back home. “Hey,” Arthur said before turning off his invisibility skill. “Ahhh!” The investigator screamed before seeing Arthur. “Oh, it is you, sir!” He said this after Arthur disabled his skills. “Yeah, I want to know if there is any method that we can use to track down if somebody used mana message,” Arthur asked. “Uhh, yes sir! We have the mana tracker, but the mana-tracking is limited up to the 30th floor since the mana connection to the higher floors has been severed. " He replied. “Understood, check every record of any mana message being sent out for today,” Arthur said. “Alright, sir!” He said this after using some kind of machine to activate a mana hologram. "Sir, there ha
Arthur pointed toward the traitor, “The traitor is the 27th floor branch leader!!” He shouted. “What!! No, I'm not! " The 27th floor branch leader shouted. Everyone was expecting Arthur to say it was the 4th floor branch leader who was the traitor, but they didn't expect that answer. “Are you sure that the traitor is the 27th floor branch leader? After all, he is the one who gave us insider information about Behemoth Guild’s plan and their secret. Not to mention, he also revealed that the traitor was in our guild. " The President said. “I am one hundred and one percent sure that the 27th floor branch leader is the traitor. President, I have gone to every record of our guild and everyone except the current 27th floor branch leader has leaked information about Behemoth Guild. Before this year, he was a nobody and was close to being elected out of his office! In fact, it is no secret that he and the 27th floor Behemoth Guild branch leader are close friends and have been working togeth
Arthur was back on the third floor in Odal Anvilhood’s house with the Information Guild investigators there. “Found anything yet?” Arthur asked them. “We found some documents… but nothing stands out sir…” One of the investigators. “Hmm, continue searching…” Arthur said. He then walked up to a picture frame that was hanging on the wooden wall. As he walked closer to it he saw that Odal Anvilhood and his father were standing with each other. Arthur took the frame and looked at it properly, and as he did that he could see that his father and Odal were shaking their hands while holding a key. Arthur saw that black color key and immediately recognize it. He took out a necklace that was inside his pocket and saw the same key that was in their hand. And as he held it he realized that it felt like the same material as his useless unbreakable sword. Arthur looked at the image again and saw that the picture was taken in the very house that he was currently in and behind them was a paintin
