“NOOO!!!” Arthur shouted as veins started popping near his neck. Although Odal was vaporized, he could still see parts of the remains that were still left; his bones, his hair, and the blood that splattered everywhere. Arthur then turned back to face the 4th floor branch Behemoth Guild leader. The branch leader was still shocked to see what had just happened; “Arthur, I didn't mean for this to happen...” He said. Now that he didn't have any hostages, Arthur could kill him without hesitation now. Arthur then took out his halberd and walked towards the branch leader. Seeing this, the Behemoth Guild branch leader took a step back, trying to calm Arthur down. “Please! I didn't mean any of this to happen! " He shouted. Arthur kept walking towards him with tears rolling down his cheeks, his face full of anger and hatred. “If you didn't mean any of this to happen! Then why in towers would you use an explosive chain and torture Odal like that? " He shouted. The branch leader then took ou
On the 4th floor, Information Guild Investigative Department, Arthur used his invisibility skill and sneaked inside it without anybody noticing. And only he and another investigator were inside the room, who was unaware of his presence. The investigator was keeping some files and was preparing to go back home. “Hey,” Arthur said before turning off his invisibility skill. “Ahhh!” The investigator screamed before seeing Arthur. “Oh, it is you, sir!” He said this after Arthur disabled his skills. “Yeah, I want to know if there is any method that we can use to track down if somebody used mana message,” Arthur asked. “Uhh, yes sir! We have the mana tracker, but the mana-tracking is limited up to the 30th floor since the mana connection to the higher floors has been severed. " He replied. “Understood, check every record of any mana message being sent out for today,” Arthur said. “Alright, sir!” He said this after using some kind of machine to activate a mana hologram. "Sir, there ha
Arthur pointed toward the traitor, “The traitor is the 27th floor branch leader!!” He shouted. “What!! No, I'm not! " The 27th floor branch leader shouted. Everyone was expecting Arthur to say it was the 4th floor branch leader who was the traitor, but they didn't expect that answer. “Are you sure that the traitor is the 27th floor branch leader? After all, he is the one who gave us insider information about Behemoth Guild’s plan and their secret. Not to mention, he also revealed that the traitor was in our guild. " The President said. “I am one hundred and one percent sure that the 27th floor branch leader is the traitor. President, I have gone to every record of our guild and everyone except the current 27th floor branch leader has leaked information about Behemoth Guild. Before this year, he was a nobody and was close to being elected out of his office! In fact, it is no secret that he and the 27th floor Behemoth Guild branch leader are close friends and have been working togeth
Arthur was back on the third floor in Odal Anvilhood’s house with the Information Guild investigators there. “Found anything yet?” Arthur asked them. “We found some documents… but nothing stands out sir…” One of the investigators. “Hmm, continue searching…” Arthur said. He then walked up to a picture frame that was hanging on the wooden wall. As he walked closer to it he saw that Odal Anvilhood and his father were standing with each other. Arthur took the frame and looked at it properly, and as he did that he could see that his father and Odal were shaking their hands while holding a key. Arthur saw that black color key and immediately recognize it. He took out a necklace that was inside his pocket and saw the same key that was in their hand. And as he held it he realized that it felt like the same material as his useless unbreakable sword. Arthur looked at the image again and saw that the picture was taken in the very house that he was currently in and behind them was a paintin
Arthur and the President walked inside the factory, where they opened a reinforced door, and all of them entered the room. They could see a transparent display box that was covered in red cloth. “Mr. Behemoth, you have requested to modify your armor and this is what we did.” One of the designers said as they removed the cloth from the transparent display box. The armor that had once had a majority silver color was replaced with black color, and there was a metal kite shield that had a red cross on it. “We have dismantled some outdated materials like steel, iron, gold, and bronze and replaced them with cold iron. And we have left the Mythril that is used on this armor and covered it in cold iron. And the white cloth is replaced with the skin of the wyvern that you gave us. This armor is the best it has ever been compared to the one that you used decades ago. " The designer said. Arthur could see that though Odal maintained the armor well, the armor now was far greater than it used
Every branch leader from the first floor to the 30th floor was there, including the newly elected 27th branch leader, who was there sitting in the seats of branch leaders. Meanwhile, Arthur and President Henry were sitting in their seats in front of everyone. A representative from the branch leaders stood up and took out a paper from his inventory, “Sir, we are happy to announce that everything that we have from every other branch has been sent to this branch, and every single member from floor 1 to floor 30 is here. This means that operation tower defense is good to go. " He said. “Thank you, 10th floor branch leader. Vice Chief Investigation Officer, can you give us a brief report?” The President asked. A person in a uniform stood up, “Yes, Mr. President. Thanks to Lee Ming, the former 27th floor branch leader, we have managed to torture him and get some information out of him. The information that he has given us is mainly about the other traitors of this guild. Thankfully, there
On the fourth floor, there were a lot of people gathered there as merchants to make money out of the players that were about to enter the gate to the 5th floor, which was just in the middle of the capital. There were also people spreading a rumor of a war between Arthur Behemoth and the Behemoth Guild. Little did they know that Arthur Behemoth was in their presence, covering his aura with his skill and walking around using his invisibility skill as well. Arthur silently walked towards the gate portal and entered it. As he came out of the other side of the portal, a burst of cold wind brushed against his armor, cooling him. As he walked, he created temporary footprints on the snowy surface, only for them to disappear after a few seconds. He knew where he was since before entering he had already read a bunch of books about this area, from all kinds of survival techniques to methods of setting traps to kill the animals in the safest way possible. Thanks to the decades of players climbin
Arthur peered from the side of the tree. ‘Sigh, the invisibility skill would be really useful now. Of course, he couldn't use his skill as that was his active skill that was now disabled temporarily. He saw the packs of saber-toothed cats roaming around. Their heads were smelling the ground as if they were looking for prey. They were covered in thick layers of fur, but the details of their muscles were extremely clear despite that. Arthur had seen tigers and lions in real life, but none of them had the look of thought that the sabertooth had. Arthur was still peeking at them and planning his next move when, all of a sudden, they started moving towards his position as if they smelt him. 'Oh, crap.’ Arthur thought as he hid behind the tree, out of the saber tooth cat's vision. But Arthur could still hear them moving closer and closer. They started sniffing in the area behind the tree that Arthur was hiding behind, and they slowly circled the tree. But nothing and no one could be fo
