"Is there still no word from Felix?" asked Miles, who was now sitting at the dining table, facing Benton with a beer can in his hand. "You guys are so close, more like family. Did he really not tell you anything?"

"No," replies Benton, sighing softly. "If we knew, we wouldn't have hidden it. It seems like he's really angry this time."

"I've never seen him angry in all this time, and even I always imagined how he would react when angry. But I didn't expect that... he's so scary like this," Benton continued, staring straight at the table in front of him with his blank stare.

Perhaps if he had known that Felix's anger would be carried out by leaving without news, he would never have imagined or wanted it.

It was tantamount to punishing those left behind, even worse than throwing a punch.

Miles takes a deep breath and sips his beer. His gaze wandered in the other direction, and he muttered, "Where the hell is he?"
