Defend

Felix stared at the men sitting on the floor with bound bodies and bruised faces with unreadable expressions.

Three of them were the thieves he had defeated some time ago. Felix recognized their faces, but they knew nothing about him.

On the right, Emmett, who wasn't in much better shape than the men, was compressing a bruise on his stomach that hurt a lot while grimacing softly. He occasionally looked at Felix and then looked down deeply, not daring to make a sound for fear of angering him further.

Tristan, one of the criminals Felix had been working with, sat not far from Emmett. Caleb, meanwhile, had been rushed to the hospital because his injuries were so severe, and he was unconscious.

"Why does he keep staring at us? Does he want to report us to the police?" One of the men sitting at the far end whispered to his friend. That made his friend immediately stare at Felix standing in front of them with a look that was hard to interpret.
