Flustered

After all the planning and preparation, the much-anticipated meeting finally came.

In her room, Clarita stood in front of the large mirror, staring at her neatly dressed reflection in blue cloth pants and a white blouse with lace on the chest. Her normally wavy hair in a striking color was now jet black and straight. Overall, her appearance was stunning, with a drastically changed aura.

Unfortunately, on her beautiful face, there was no smile, and she looked pale. Even the makeup that was applied could not cover it up completely.

Clarita took a deep breath and let it out, hoping her nervousness would disappear. However, it didn't and instead intensified. Cold sweat began to bead on her temples and neck, making her instantly want to cry.

"Why am I like this? It's okay, Clarita, calm down," Clarita muttered as she clutched her chest, constantly breathing in and out. "It's just a meeting, okay? There's no need to be nervous or scared. They won't eat you."
