After arriving at the hospital and inquiring about the room where Diana was admitted, this is where Mr. Zay was—standing at the door of the ward. It had been about ten minutes, but the middle-aged man seemed to have no intention of knocking.

Secretary Jorell, who was faithfully behind him, even became confused.
