"It's true," Jeslyn muttered in disbelief.

"Hey, are you okay?" Clarita rushed over when she saw Jeslyn's body, which looked like it was about to fall over, and held her arm tightly. "It looks like you're not well. Your face is pale. Are you sick?"

Instead of answering, Jeslyn shook her head slowly with her lips pulled down. In an instant, her tears flowed freely, making Clarita, who was watching her, widen her eyes in surprise.

"Why are you crying? Are you really sick?" Clarita tried to wipe away her tears, but it didn't work. Jeslyn's crying intensified, and by now, the girl was hugging Clarita tightly. "Jeslyn. If anything makes you uncomfortable, just tell me. I'll call the family doctor."

"My heart," Jeslyn murmured through her tears.

Because of her loud sobbing, her words could not be heard clearly. Clarita frowned and was about to push Jeslyn back to her feet. But as if she was wearing glue, Jeslyn didn't move even though Clarita exerted all her strength.
