"... why would a human care for a Beaskin?" The chief asked, still holding his stance. "If you're after their Soul, wouldn't taking it when they're a child more beneficial? Why bother reviving them when they're already dead?"

For a long moment, Drake didn't know how to answer that question. Why was he so adamant about reviving the little girl? In the first place, why was he so attached to her? Why did he care so much about her? He had only known the kid for a couple of weeks, they barely spoke a few words to each other. So why?
