Chapter 41

The Crimson Lord fell. A moment of silence passed followed by the howling of the surviving beasts before they made their escape.

No one tried to chase after them. The fight has finally ended and the crises has been averted. Many of the Hunters collapsed to their knees as exhaustion caught up to them. That went twice for Ragnar.

The old man laid down on his back. Light enveloped him and he gradually reverted back to his old form.

"Ragnar!" Gunnar tossed his shield and ran to the chief's side. "What were you thinking! You know you're too old for that!"

"Hahaha, what are you talking about? I still got it in me, you know!"

"This is no laughing matter!"
