The girl had not said anything yet because she felt insecure. After all, Eden had not said anything at all and did not allow her to tell others about their relationship. Even though it was obvious that Merry and she had a relationship, still she felt that she couldn't carelessly do all that because Eden must have another much stronger reason to protect her from people who asked.
