CHAPTER 51:

As the MC announced the termination of Mr. Compton from the party, people who knew him turned in his direction, and the rest of the crowd looked toward the direction of the onlookers. Compton was embarrassed as they stared at him. The shame Edward had brought to him was beyond his expectations. Even Jedidah was shocked by the announcement too. At this point, some people brought out their phones to start filming.

Gently, Compton stood up in shame and held Jedidiah's hand, about to walk out of the party, but Edward stopped them immediately.

"Hey, wait! You can't go with her," Edward insisted.

Mr. Compton turned to look at Edward with a glare. He folded his fist, being overwhelmed with a killing instinct.

"I should leave my girl all alone here. Hah. You must be the biggest joker I have ever met." He said.

Edward smiled at him and then replied. "It's not your place to speak for her. Like I said, you aren't married to her yet, and I can----"
