**THE NEXT MORNING**

By 9 a.m. the next morning, the vicinity of Loylds Laboratory was filled with an array of exquisite cars, all belonging to top pharmaceutical company owners from the town of Ashville. They had all come for the screening interview to partner with Loylds for vaccine distribution.

Seventy CEOs, who made it to the screening out of the 200 that applied, were seated on soft, comfortable chairs in an elegant waiting room on one of the floors. They were being served drinks and light snacks as they waited for their turns. Edward sat in his office, dressed professionally for the interviews.

The first CEO to walk into his office made Edward rise from his seat in respect. His name was Judge Kefiano, the son of Mr. Kefiano, who founded the first modern-day pharmaceutical company that had flourished so well. Most CEOs in Ashville viewed his father as a mentor who had inspired many in the world of medicine.
