Chapter 56: To hell with everyone

Although they both already agreed to go meet the CEO, they were still faced with a big dilemma and that's how they will leave the house. Those workers were still outside shouting and they don't look like one who is planning to even leave.

Lucas gave an exasperated sigh as he leaned his shoulders on the couch looking frustrated. "How are we going to leave this mansion?"

"I don't know either." Lisa replied, looking exhausted and tired. It was apparently evident that they were both looking lost, including the two children, who looked as though they wanted to sleep.

"If we can't leave here, we won't be able to meet the CEO, talk less of saving ourselves." Lucas reminded her.

"Yes yes, I know that's why we need to figure out a way to get out of here."

Lucas stood up and peeped through a hole to check those outside again. He could notice from their looks that they have no intention of leaving without seeing him. After peeping for a while, he returned back to his seat, with a stressed look.
