Women's Club

Elvano tried to remain calm in front of the Carlina family, especially since Alvrin was glaring at him.

"Which family clan were you from until Carlina accepted you?" asked Alvrin curtly.

"He has the name Alvrin, Tian!" Carlina replied emphatically.

"Even his looks are unattractive, I wonder where you got this slum man from?" said Alvrin.

"How dare you Alvrins?!" Carlina snapped.

"Stop it! You guys have no shame in arguing in front of grandma and you, Mr. Alvrin, can you leave us?" asked Carlina's grandmother.

"But I have the right to sit beside Carlina, not this slum man, grandma," Alvrin replied, pointing at Elvano.

"You are a bad man and I will never come back to you because Tian already got my love." Carlina hugged Elvano's arm tightly so that the springy thing had stuck to her.

Elvano became unfocused because he felt his fuzz prickle, for a moment he fantasized in the middle of the debate.

"I will not forget this, Carlina , wait for my revenge and you slum man your fate will feel like someone!" threatened Alvrin then left Carlina's residence.

Elvano was stunned for a moment, his fantasy was lost because Carlina tried to protect her face from Alvrin's wide hands.

"Alvrins!" he snapped.

"Elvano," Tian thought, saying his own name.

Grandmother Carlina felt dizzy watching her granddaughter's romance and sat down, massaging her temples.

"Grandma, are you okay?" asked Carlina, feeling guilty.

"After this, what will happen to our Carlina family? Don't you know that Alvrin is a powerful man?" asked grandma.

"Carlina is ready if there are things that grandma doesn't want. The fat man only knows how to have fun with women and I don't love him." Grandmother did not answer, choosing to rest.

Elvano didn't come into Grandma's room but he held back his laughter when he heard the word fat man come out of Carlina's mouth.

"Brave woman! I can't imagine that one day she will marry and the man who has become her husband will surely submit," she said with a chuckle.

"Tian!" Carlina's voice calls from grandma's door made her heart beat fast.

"Is there anything I can help you with, miss?" asked Elvano slowly.

"Can you help me carry grandma to the bathroom?" Carlina looks embarrassed, especially her cheeks look red.

"Okay Miss," Elvano replied quickly without seeing the young woman's face red with shame, her pride dropped for help.

They both held grandma's hand until they entered the bathroom. Without being asked to leave, Elvano left there while wiping his face repeatedly.

"So I miss Grandpa," thought Elvano, suddenly remembering Grandpa Taraja.

That night, Elvano's supposed acquaintance with the Carlina family ended up being canceled because the grandmother's health had dropped after the debate. In Carlina's room, she kept laughing about Elvano, even though Grandma didn't respond.

"Tian is a good man for my grandmother. Raouw Hale's employees like him a lot because of his hospitality and kindness. Carlina fell in love with the character she has compared to Alvrin. Grandma has the right to be angry with me but don't separate me from Tian," she whispered as she hugged the old body.

"The problem is that Tian is not comparable to our family Carlina? What will the world say about your marriage? Especially Alvrin, that man will not hesitate to teach us a lesson later?" thought grandmother.

Carlina and grandma were absorbed in different thoughts, while Elvano was focused on fiddling with his cellphone, which he had just bought as a result of a contract husband's work.

"What are you doing?" A deep voice startled Elvano to find that Carlina's grandfather was already behind him.

"Sorry, I didn't see you sir." Elvano failed to send messages to his confidants.

Carlina's grandfather, Simon, was dizzy when he saw that the seedy Elvano wanted to put his face where he would be. Even though they are dressed quite neatly, their appearance is still bad in their eyes.

"How long have you been working at our company?" asked Grandpa Simon.

"Two months sir," Elvano answered nervously.

"What have you been feeding my beloved grandson all this time? You can't even take care of your body?" Elvano swallowed the bitter pill for being this humiliated in the eyes of rich people.

"I will try my best to get a proper job, sir," said Elvano bitterly.

"This house needs a maid. It seems you are suitable for that role." Elvano growled in annoyance at Simon's grandfather's words.

"Grandpa?" Carlina had overheard their conversation.

"Don't let people find out we have a son-in-law like him, Carlina! We have emphasized looking for a man of seed, weight and weight, that's clear. Don't just make your husband the good name of our family is at stake. Remember, Alvrin already knows you don't even remember his threat ?" explained grandfather Simon.

"We will talk about this grandpa!" Carlina forced Elvano to go to his room.

Elvano compiled because his plan could not fail this time so he could return to grandfather Taraja's mansion.

"Did you hear what Grandpa Simon said? I want to change the agreement as well as the nominal contract fee that we agreed to increase ten times as long as you want to be a maid in my house," said Carlina.

"Give me some time to think about it." Elvano felt his blood heat up and left Carlina's residence without saying goodbye to grandparents.

Grandfather Simon shook his head when he saw Elvano's departure, there was absolutely no courtesy, he just left.

"Grandpa, can Carlina come in?" he called.

"Enter!" Grandpa Simon sat on his long bench.

"Grandpa, I'm sorry, Tian didn't say goodbye earlier," Carlina said straight to the point.

"Grandpa wants to talk to you Carlina." Carlina nodded knowing what this middle-aged man wanted to say.

"What is grandpa?" Carlina replied smoothly.

"Grandfather, I have received information about a man claiming to be your husband, it turns out that all this time he has been living on the outskirts of town with a scavenger man." Carlina nodded what grandpa said was right.

"Tian has already told me about his grandfather's friend, he can't bear to see his friend stranded on the street," Carlina replied, even though she didn't know about Andre at all, fortunately her brain was quick to think.

"Okay, Grandfather will accept being here, but remember not to tarnish our family's good name Carlina." Carlina was happy that finally Simon's grandfather gave the green light that Alvrins could no longer bother him.

"Just waiting for Tian's decision, hopefully this slum man wants to live here. Being a taxi driver seems like a bad idea, of course people will make fun of me," Carlina said to herself.

Elvano took his cellphone out of his pocket because earlier the message had come in to make him uncomfortable. Her eyes widened when she saw the amount of money Carlina sent to build a house.

"Is that woman really crazy that she's not messing around?!" shouted Elvano.

"Tian, you came home early?" Elvano immediately put his cell back into his pocket.

"Yes, the boss of the Women's Club is holding a party out of town today, so my place of work is closed first," Elvano reasoned.

"Oh like that." Andre went into the bathroom to clean his smelly body.

"How do I convey this to Andre? He must be suspicious of me because I've gone too far?" Elvano thought.
