Young Man

Elvano became the center of attention of Raouw Hale's employees because his face was very familiar, however, the adult man didn't care but kept going inside to meet the receptionist.

"Excuse me, I am Tian, I want to apply for a job here," Elvano said politely.

The woman was silent for a moment, stunned by seeing Elvano's handsome face, forgetting that her co-worker had touched her arm.

"He's the man on the television screen!" he whispered.

"Oh My God?!" he shouted until the security guard happened to pass by and immediately approached the two women.

"What's wrong, Mom?" he asked while looking at Elvano but he didn't care because he didn't know him at all.

"Sorry, sir, it seems you heard wrong that we are currently not accepting vacancies," replied the woman who was not named.

"But here you are, ma'am?" asked Elvano to make sure.

"Sir, he is the man on the television screen." It turned out that one of the two of them was whispering to thwart Elvano's intention to work here.

"Young man, once there are no vacancies, no. Leave or we will drag you from here?!" snapped the security guard.

"But I want-" the security guard quickly interrupted Elvano.

"You're a bad man, your face is everywhere. Maybe we want to recruit employees like you!" he pointed out.

Elvano was stunned to see his face on the night of Taraja's grandfather's birthday party. The security guard immediately dragged Elvano and they pushed him down the stairs.

"How dare you do this to me," cried Elvano. The door was tightly shut for Elvano to leave Raouw Hale's company as soon as possible.

Elvano again swallowed the bitter pill to accept the fact that his life was turned upside down one hundred and eighty degrees. Tired and mixed with sweat, Elvano chose to sit on the side of the highway contemplating the problem that had just happened to him.

"Have my employees also experienced what I experienced? It's really difficult to get a job," he whispered and took a sip of the remaining drinking water from the police station.

Time flies so fast, Elvano can't hold on. In the end, according to Alvrin's wishes, his half brother ends up on the street as a beggar. Born as a rich child, all needs are always available, but Elvano will no longer experience all of that.

Now Elvano is stranded on the street picking up used goods to sell, his appearance has changed to dirty, smelly, shabby and even his skin color is not as white as before, now it looks burnt.

One month has passed after the incident at Taraja's grandfather's birthday celebration, and Elvano is only able to find a house that was completely abandoned by its owner. He even has a friend based on the same as him.

"Why haven't you scavenged, Tian?" he asked.

"I'll clean this up later," he said.

"Wait, don't shave, your handsomeness will fade Tian!" he exclaimed.

"Really?" asked Elvano, pretending not to understand.

"You're handsome Tian. It's a shame your face is a scavenger, if I were you I would have proposed to the women out there, I mean applying for a job," joked Andre.

Elvano remembered that he had applied for a job at Raouw Hale's company, and as fast as a flash, he immediately searched for the file.

"Why didn't I think of this before?!" shouted Elvano.

"What is it?" asked André, surprised.

"I'll be back Andre." Elvano's new appearance this time confidently applied to become a taxi driver under the Raouw Hale company.

Elvano took a sharp look at the security guard who used to make him fall down the stairs, causing him to be in pain for three days.

"Hello sir, can I leave this to the sweet lady!" pointed Elvano to the reception desk. The security guard didn't answer Elvano's question, instead he looked at the face full of beards.

"Sir?" call Elvano again.

"Oh please!" Elvano smiled wryly and immediately stepped into the reception desk.

Elvano this time received good service and their hospitality seemed far from before.

"You've been accepted because you meet the criteria." Elvano was amazed that he had just applied and was accepted.

"Okay, thanks," he nodded quickly.

Elvano ran fast to meet his friend to tell him this happy news. Nearly five hundred meters he traveled finally arrived at the house.

"I was accepted by Andre, starting tomorrow I can work." Elvano did not hesitate to hug his friend because his life would change to not being a beggar anymore.

"Well done mate, you deserve it." Andre is happy that one of them can get out of begging.

The bad weather reminded Elvano to leave the house with only his body. The slander he experienced was so serious that it put his name and reputation at stake.

"God is good, I hope that my job at this time will be able to meet grandfather," he whispered, exhaling strongly.

Elvano started preparing himself for work because he had not driven a car for a long time. Today was the first time that Elvano gathered with the taxi drivers.

"You may return when you have met the target," said the taxi instructor.

"Yes sir," they all replied in unison.

Elvano hopes he can get orders according to Raouw Hale's company regulations. In the heart of New York City Elvano stopped his vehicle hoping that a passenger would come with him. Many people were walking around but none of them knew that Elvano was there.

"Mommy, what are we doing here?" protested Alvrin for not being free to play with women when they met in open spaces.

"Mami wants to meet someone, we're even five minutes late," he said.

"Who's mommy?" asked Alvrin in surprise.

"Soon you'll know honey!" Alvrin was forced to say yes even though he already missed the women's club where he channeled his turmoil.

From a distance Elvano was surprised to see Alvrin and Emma walking towards him, he felt so happy that after so long he could finally meet another member of Taraja's grandfather's family.

"Mama Emma, Alvrins," Elvano called but his tone sounded weak because he overheard their conversation.

"Mommy will tell you now Alvrins, we will meet with the old man's lawyer," said Emma.

"Why meet him mom?" asked Alvrin in surprise.

"Stupid! You want the inheritance to remain in Elvano's name while that child has ended up being a beggar and scavenger," said Emma.

"Is that necessary mom? Elvano is no longer welcome everywhere? Grandpa's inheritance will automatically fall on me!" replied Alvrin.

"Unfortunately grandpa already knows what we Alvrins did, he doesn't accept what we have done to his favorite grandson," snorted Emma.

"How did grandpa know?" asked Alvrin, surprised that all this time no one had been able to enter Grandpa Taraja's room except him and Emma.

"Mami said because my mouth was itching to tell the old man." Alvrin clapped his forehead but it didn't matter to him.

Elvano shook his head stunned to hear everything Emma said while seeing the elevator door was tightly closed.

"Impossible?! It's too much for you two Alvrins, to do that to me and Grandpa," he said in disbelief that he had to accept the new reality of Emma and Alvrin's true behavior. All this time he had believed, but his and grandfather's trust had been tarnished by both brands.
