Dr. Preston's face turned red with anger. "How dare you question my expertise!" he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "I've spent years studying medicine, and I know what I'm doing."

Elvis stood his ground, his eyes flashing with determination. "I'm not questioning your expertise, Doctor. I'm just saying that there are other ways to treat this patient."

Maxwell snorted. "Oh, really? And what makes you think you know better than the doctor?" He sneered at Elvis. "You're just a... a... nobody."

Elvis's face stung from the insult, but he refused to back down. "I may not have a medical degree, but I have knowledge that could help this patient."

Anita's eyes darted nervously between Elvis and Dr. Preston. She knew Elvis was smart with what she had seen within the past 24 hours, but she also knew that Dr. Preston was a renowned expert in his field.

Mrs. Nath's voice cut through the tension. "What do you propose we do, young man?" she asked Elvis, her tone skeptical.
