"Yes, sure, Mr. Aiden, but that'll take some; I'm not sure if you'll be able to wait to take it." Dominic agreed almost Immediately. As the head of the company and also a food expert, he was actively involved in the process of the snack and knew it like the back of his hand. "Let's go in then, I'll write it out while you wait," Dominic suggested. "You go ahead first, I need to make a call." Aiden refused and pulled out his phone to make a call. "What about you, Elsa? Are you going to come with me?" Dominic turned to Elsa. "Yes sir." Elsa nodded and hurriedly followed Dominic into the company. She was not a fool and thus knew why Dominic wanted her to come along. At the moment, though she was a little bit unwilling, she didn't think Aiden was trying to woo her or anything. But she was still a little bit upset about this, but there was nothing she could do about it. As for his capabilities, she had no idea about that; after all, he had not done anything meaningful, according to her. Seeing the two walking into the company, Aiden dialed a number on his phone, and soon the call was collected. After a while, the call was picked up by the other party and a laugh came from the other end. "Aiden BlackWood, the person you want to speak with is currently busy and wouldn't be able to attend to your call right now." A dignified male voice came from the other end of the phone. "Huh?" Aiden froze for a moment but came back to his senses almost immediately. "Hahahaha!" Another laughter came from the other end, and then the male voice sounded again. "Got you!" The voice laughed again. "Noah, how many times do you want me to repeat that your jokes are not funny," Aiden smirked, scolding the other party. "You're a lawyer for heaven's Sake, not a comedian." Noah suddenly asked, his voice filled to the brim with excitement as though he was hoping Aiden would fall into one of what he mentioned. "Even if I commit a murder, no one would find out." Aiden rolled his eyes. "Besides, do you think I would call a crooked lawyer like you if that was the case?" He added. "Fine." Noah sighed, giving up. "By the way Noah, where are you?" Aiden asked, his voice turning serious. "I'm currently at a restaurant, do you want to give me some money?" Noah taunted. "What's the name of the restaurant you're in, I'll come meet you there." Aiden ignored the other party's taunt and asked directly. "Farm City Restaurant." Noah fell silent for a while before he replied. "What are you doing in such a high-end restaurant?" Aiden raised his brows wondering what the latter was doing there. Noah was his childhood friend and also best friend. What's more, the two came from humble backgrounds. However, Aiden never knew who his parents were as he lived with his grandmother, who would refuse to say a word about his parents even if he asked. His grandmother passed away when he was about to get into college, and his sister, who still couldn't stay alone, lived with Noah and his parents until he graduated from college. After he graduated, his sister strangely fell ill and it had been consuming all of his savings, but he didn't give up and continued to take care of her. "Idiot, I came to see a client." Noah scoffed, his voice, pulling Aiden out of his thoughts. He also knew his limits and was never going to go to a place like that willingly. Though he was doing better than Aiden, he was not an extravagant fellow, and neither would he take cases to defend guilty people. "Alright then, there's something I want to talk to you about. Would you mind waiting for me? I should be there in about thirty minutes." Aiden thought for a while and replied. "Alright then, I'll be waiting for you." Noah nodded and ended the call. Aiden sighed and shook his head. As much as Noah sounded unreliable, he was very good at his work which was why he was willing to call him for help. Also, he wanted Noah to be the company's lawyer in the future, after all, he was sure that those who had attacked the company would come again. If something were to happen and they needed to go to court, he wouldn't have to worry about looking for a lawyer. There were also a thousand other reasons, but Aiden just shook his head and walked into the company. He couldn't wait to see what was wrong with the snack. Was it the formula or the process of making the snack?
