Chapter 32
Krystelle's ReminisceKrystelle's POV:~x~
Flashback~x~"Mother, Who are these creatures?" As I pointed my finger at the picture my mom was holding.
I was a little elf back then, sitting on my mom's lap, being curious and eager enough to learn the world. My attention was drawn to the photographs that Mom was holding.
I grabbed them and took a closer look at their appearances.
"They are called Humans, my elfie dear." My mother spoke and answered.
"Humans? Where do they live, mother?" I asked as my tone was filled with pure innocence and curiosity.
My mother lifted me down from her lap and placed me on the floor to sit down.
She was going to tell a story, a tale of who and what humans are. I was very intrigued by the idea, so I attentively listened as the fire from the fireplace gave us a cozy warmth feeling.

Let me tell you a story about humans.Long ago, humans and elves were onChapter 33The Twin ElvesKrystelle's POV: I got up from my where I was lying on the stone cold ground and asked them "Where am I? Where's Yosora!?" I suddenly remembered the test. I looked at the holographic digital clock above us and saw the time. Shit! We only have about a less than twenty-four hours to complete the task. I had no fucking Idea what was going on and that the previous memory I can recall was that I fought a beast I couldn't defeat and then everything went pitch-black. I can't loose here! I have to find my partner and win this test! Or else- "Hey, Relax Ensorcell, You look stressed," the guy inferred. "Vrax, if I wasn't mistaken? Did I hear it right?" I confirmed what I had just heard from their conversation a while ago. "Yes! And this is my twin, Trax!" Vrax enthusiastically introduced his twin to me. Trax seemed calm and silent. They both shared the same facial expression, the same
Chapter 34Raven's ReminisceRaven's POV: ~x~47:58:51~x~ After the background scenery was finally built into its structure and form, I immediately summoned my Grimoire and cast a spell to locate the Scroll. We were on the shore, the seaside of the battleground. I felt the purple-mauve sand touching my feet. I don't know why I even got paired with this silent weirdo freak. I wouldn't be bothered if it was either Krys or Carter, but with Perseus!? "Hey, Speech Impaired." I got her attention as he was busy making sand castles. He swung his head and looked at me with his pure, innocent eyes. He raised his eyes and said, "Yes?" What's with all these weird looks he's giving? "We already located where the scroll is hidden, so lift your ass and let's get going." I ordered it. "Okay," he bluntly replied, then turned his head back again to the unfinished sand castle as he continued to build it. He's
Chapter 35Light and WaterRaven's POV: ~ x ~30:45:18~ x ~ Perseus and I were on the seaside shore of the holographic battleground, slaying some monsters and beasts with our sentient magic. Percy didn't seem serious about fighting, but he had the guts and talent to be a good rival to spar with. He seemed calm as he gracefully and swiftly swayed his hands in the air along with his water-bending magic, summoning water bubbles and blasting them at the sea monsters that were one by one coming out of the waters. They have thick black and blue scales, yellow eyes, sharp teeth, and long fangs. They have the head of a fish and the body of a human. One after another, they were approaching rapidly to attack us with their sharp claws. We were both keenly alert and our reflexes were sharp enough to dodge and evade their attacks. I supported and defended him from some beasts that were behind Percy by the use of my Trav
Chapter 36The Scoreboard ListRaven's POV: The small audience in the room applauded at the end of our performance. "I congratulate you, dear Peculiars! You passed the test!" The Ensorcell cheerfully announced it. We won? I can't believe we actually won! "Uh, Thanks." I plainly replied. "Thank you!" Perseus wore a wide grin on his face after thanking the lady in a childish manner. "Please, take a seat." The Dryad lent a helping hand and pointed to a reserved seat for two. A seat just for us. Some of the other Peculiars that passed the test also had their seats aligned near ours. As we sat in our seats, the setting was like in a movie theatre, except that the whole place was covered with holographic screens and pictures of some of the peculiars striving to win the test. We were about to watch a movie when a large screen appeared in front of us and some names were shown on board. I was thrilled with what the
Chapter 37:The Anonymous EntitySomeone's POV: Upon leaving the school's test premises, I wandered around and looked for other places in search of a suitable host to possess. I only have three remaining hours left before my cold spell wears off. I only had a limited time using it. Because it lasts for ten or so hours a day, and since I have stayed at the testing ground for quite a while, watching the reckless lad, it diminishes my reserved mana. The last time I tried to possess a useless human, it was fine I guess? Let's just say it didn't go well as planned. And daring to possess one during my travels? Well, it wasn't a pleasant experience for me. For now, I need to find a host. A vessel that would replenish my depleted mana and benefit me in my mission. So then, after hours of roaming around the vicinity, I stumbled upon the school's endless dark hallways. It was an idiotic move, but at least it satisfi
Chapter 38:The Yellow BerryCarter's POV: It was like I was at a fancy celebration. We were already inside a huge palace of this prestigious academy. The theme and color of the ballroom were pure luxurious gold and silver lining items. A variety of dishes and foods were served at the social table covered with an expensive crimson white cloth. Lots of peculiars gather for the celebration of those who have passed the exam. I looked around the ballroom, and I saw Raven and Perseus there. It's a pity Krystelle didn't make it. I felt incomplete without my friends. I wanted to approach them but- "You did a Splendid Job, Mr. Wister! I saw your blast performance on the battlefield!" The headmistress graciously congratulated us. I was surprised when she blocked my way. I could not tell whether I was in the ancient past or the farthest future, but I couldn't imagine how long it would be before the construction of the battlefield was finis
Chapter 39The Initiation CeremonyCarter's POV: "I have this feeling that our first day here at the Ministry of Encrest will be the best!" excitedly exclaimed Krystelle. "Don't get too excited and don't expect too much. We don't know if something unpleasant might happen." Raven got in the way then frowned and they started arguing. Well, as expected. I knew they were going to fight and quarell, and I got used to them. Anyhow, I just let them be and we went to the vast green fields along with Perseus, Amarra, Vitrax Yosora and Sei, where the ceremony was taking place. There were lots of booths and stalls as if there was a huge festival. The ceremony was about to begin. There were crowds filling up the spaces. I didn't know what to do in the ceremony, especially since I didn't know how to fully control the power I possessed. I just sat and hid in the corner of the stadium while watching them. The Headmistress, her assistant, Mr. Lu
Chapter 40The Varangis GuardsKrystelle's POV: "Oh no! Carter!" I immediately ran as I carefully supported his back from falling on the ground. "Look out!" was a drastic shout I heard from afar. I got very agitated by the familiar voice. I tilted my head towards the voice until my pheriheral vision saw a being. It was almost going to stab me behind my back, but suddenly Raven appeared out of nowhere behind me and blasted bolts of energy. He summoned a disperant energy light whip to fight these malicious deities that attempted to slice and cut our tranquility. The unexpected appearance of strange, unknown creatures interfering with the ceremony alarmed everyone. Most of the audience panicked, and wild noises of screeching and screaming filled the whole vicinity as some creatures were eating the peculiars alive. It was a bloody feast for the beasts, as they seemed to be joyfully eating their prey and targets. Some
