Chapter 68
Amarra's HideoutCarter's POV:What?! Even Tashia got affected. She also turned into a brainless zombie Peculiar.
She was also wearing an evil smirk just like Flarion, her arms were twitching and couldn't walk properly. Her eyes were glowing green.
"I-I don't understand?! What is happening?!"
Krystelle was stunned when she saw that her sister Tashia was also infected with some pandemic disease that spread at the Ministry.
Tashia kept on summoning her wild flower and plant monsters and while dreadfully coming closer towards our direction.
Lylan parted us aside and stood infront of us and formed a stance as a defense. He summoned his Grimoire, recited a spell and made hand gestures to manipulate earth.
He lifted his hand and a compound group of concrete bricks, tall as a tree from the ground also lifted as a defense shield to block all the flower plants raging fort towards us.
Many ran into the barricade
Chapter 69Entering the Caves of DunaraCarter's POV: "Okay, so now that we're here, what's the next step? What are we going to do next?" Perseus asked. "Look!" All six of us simultaneously looked in the direction where Lylan's index finger was pointing. "Well, that was on-spot! You found the entrance right away." I complimented Lylan. "What are we waiting for folks? Let's go!" Invited by Perseus. He took the lead to go first in line then we followed the line but Krystelle stopped us. "But wait, isn't it supposed to be a secret passageway? Like it's too easy for us to find the entrance real quick. Something's off. Maybe it's a trap." Krystelle started to doubt from the matter. "Nah, Don't be silly Krys. The easier the better! Right? That way, we won't have to suffer any more, right? We'll have to suffer more than ourselves." I opposed her assumption. "Yeah, Agreed." Lylan second emotion. Perseus
Chapter 70The Vaults of Dunara: A Dead EndCarter's POV: "Why don't we split up? We can find the secret vault fast if we split together." suggested Lyzzan. "Wait, W-what? No! We can't. How can we protect each other if we separate !?" I asked out of confusion. "Well, I think it's a great Idea to split up. I agree with Lyz." Lylan replied. "Are you kidding me?! We need each other alive. Don't you get what I'm saying?!" I complained. "Okay, so you, Krystelle and Amarra should go in this path, while Lyzzan and I will take this path. Deal?" Lylan proposed an Idea. "What deal?! Are you even guys listening to me?!" My voice went up and because of that the echoes of mine that were bouncing around the room made the ceiling from the cave to shake. Only a small portion and chunks of ice spikes and calcites to fell down to us so it wouldn't be much enough to hurt us. And guess what? I finally got their attention out of
Chapter 71PuzzleCarter's POV: Our eyes wandered around and only a large concave wall exposed us. It was rocky and bumpy but still full of sharp rocks. "Come here, I found something ..." Amarra scooped her hands in the air, a gesture call, meaning to come at where she is standing. "So, what have we got here, Amarra?" I asked and I just held on to both my waist. "What do you think about this colorful but weird buttons, switches and dials on the wall? And how about this lever? What does this do? And this hole below the controls? What's this?" Amarra asked one question after another as he pointed out one by one what was built into the wall because he was so curious about them. And it's some sort of like a control swtich. Amarra was about to turn the dials, buttons, knobs, and levers that were made of stone, we immediately stopped him and when maybe one wrong click on one of these buttons, a trap might trigger. "Stop! Yo
Chapter 72The Wrong LeverCarter's POV: What Amarra was supposed to say was interrupted when I contradicted her by requesting "Just say it again. Please." Amarra sighed in frustration. "Fine. We can see the reflection of ourselves through the mirror but we cannot touch our reflection. Through light, reflection can bounce through diverse directions by the use of the mirror and-" "Okay stop!" I suddenly stopped him. I and Krystelle both gasped. We looked at each other, like a sign of unified thought. "Through Light! Reflection can bounce through diverse by the use of the mirror!" We were joyously exclaiming as we spoke together. "That's it! The answer is light! We can clearly see it but we cannot touch it. It can bounce through diverse directions because light can be reflected! And it doesn't make a sound! We answered the riddle! Yay!" Krystelle and I high-fived and I jumped from too much excitement then hugged.<
Chapter 73The Guardian BeastCarter's POV: "No one can hear us here! You haven't thought about it yet?! I want to hit you in the face, seriously!" Amarra let Krystelle remind us that our voices cannot reach the outside of this room and that the rushing flood of water that was already at our waist was even louder when the three of us shouted. I suddenly thought of an Idea that would bring Krystelle in a conscious state. The water overflowed quickly because apart from the stone pillar mermaid, the other three stone carved pillars also spewed water so instead of stepping on the ground below we couldn't do it because the water lifted us up to the ceiling and we started to float and swim like a frog. But we have not yet reached the top of the cave. It was only halfway through before we reached the top of the Cave. "Hey, Krys! Instead of whining like a lunatic brat that seemd like to escape from the assylum, why not use your powers to break this wall
Chapter 74Proving your WorthThird POV: The Giant Stone golem's empty eyes that were filled with darkness suddenly glistering with fire inside. It suddenly unleashed its power. It blazed with intense fire all over his body which made the remaining water boil from the place and evaporate fast, turning into steam. It was a sudden increase in temperature as the Stone Golem roared louder than a lion, and scarier than a dinosaur. The Giant was in great fury knowing that we were about to take the most possessed treasure that the Stone golem's trying to protect - Which is the forbidden book. I was terrified, knowing by the fact us three alone couldn't stand a chance with this stone giant. Krystelle summoned her vines from under the ground to strangle the giant stone golem. It spare Carter some time to steal the forbidden book from where it was placed but the stone giant had its eyes over it protecting it at all cost and had great amount of p

I can't believe I finally found you, both of you! I was so worried, thinking that maybe you two are gone for good!" "More of like, we found you too!" opposed Sandra. "No! More like we found us!" Ricky exclaimed. The three of us hugged again. It also took a long time before we could see each other again, I could hardly let go of my arms to them. I don't want them to be separated from me again. Never. I will protect them at all cost, even if it cost my life.I love my siblings so much, more than anything.
